  1. Hello I would really appreciate if you can provide some information about the process of NBCOT after passing the exam ( for international candidate) and how much on a average time period it takes to go through each step. I think you need visa screenning, state licensure etc and then find an employer. Can you please tell me how to find the employer who can sponsor H1B visa for OT's . Also are there any cap exempt OT H1B visa employers ? Thanks Sid

The standards list which they have sent wo match the courses and course content doesn't mention anything on General Subject like Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Anthropology, Sociology etc. Does anyone has any idea. Study Help

Hi I would really appreciate if someone has any information about the new Category B introduced by NBCOT for eligibility verfication/approval. We have received the packet but in that there aren't any requirement for general subjects. Is the NBCOT review different than FCCPT where they also assign general subjects credits ? . Any idea if anybody is in process of applying in this category or has been approved. Category B is for candidates who have 4 1/2 yrs bachelors but no masters. The other option is to do Masters and they apply for eligibility. For that my observation has been that the average college fee is 30K/Annum and not sure if a Masters from India will satisfy all the requirements easily. Am I correct on the expense of doing MOT here or there are some options for foreign students to actually reduce the expense. Anyone who is doing MOT from US might can help with this . . Thanks
  6. Hello Can anyone please tell me the difference in these two exams. I would really appreciate that. Because NBCOT i still has both these options, which they still accept. Thanks Sudhir

  8. Hello Can someone please guide if a candidate who has 4 1/2 years bachelors in occupational therapy degree from India, what are the best choices for him or her to reach the stage of OTR. Does anyone has information about not so costly colleges in US for MOT and where the admission deadlines for those. Anyone has any idea about the chances of getting financial aid/scholarship. I just want to have an idea like what most of the candidates who have atleast 41/2 years degree with some good work experience should do if they want to pursue a OT career in US. Or any good agency etc in US or in India ( preferably in delhi) for admissions counselling. If someone applies under Category B of new NBCOT Eligibility requirements, what are the chances ?. Anybody has any sort of experience with general subjects credit requirement fullfillment etc ? I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this. Thanks Sudhir
