Hello again everyone, Thank you very much Raghuveer, Amitha and Erin for wishing me good luck, and thank you Erin for the beautiful compliments. But, unfortunately I didn't get the student visa, I was refused. So, for now I am really disappointed and very confused about what I want to do in my future. In the Embassy was teribble, the Americans are in a really crises now, they interview everybody and anybody, doesn’t matter they go for a turistic visa or marriage or student visa. Especially the young people were interviewed three and even four times. I didn't get my student visa and these were the reasons presented by the American Embassy: "We were unable to issue you a visa this morning under section 214(b) of the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA), which presumes that nonimmigrant visa applicants are intending immigrants to the United States unless they can prove otherwise. In order to overcome INA section 214(b), applicants must demonstrate through longstanding professional, family or social commitments that they have strong ties to their country of residence. Because your parents are legal permanent residents in the United States and you have lived in Israel a relatively short time, it was difficult for you to overcome INA section 214(b)’s presumption of denial. Denials under INA section 214(b) are not permanent, and you can apply again for a nonimmigrant visa at a future date." I guess that if you have parents in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA you can't get a student visa, because they don't believe that you will come back. I was honest and I told the truth that my parents are in the United States, and they didn't give me the visa. Worse, I am not able to apply for now for at least six months. Also the Embassy raise the taxes that you have to pay for the visa, I paid 70 $, money that are not refundable if you do not get the visa. I am so sad, I made so many plans and now I do not have any chance to do what I have dreamed. It is so terrible, how a clerk can destroy your future in just some minutes...... So, take care and my advise : You have to think also that you will not get the visa, because in these days it might happen. Anyway it was a great experience to meet with all of you guys ! :(

Hello everyone, Tomorow I will go to the American Embassy in Israel to apply for my student visa. Keep me please your fingers cross. Hello Erin, IF I will get my student visa ,and one day with God's help I will be in America I will come to visit your school.You are such a good teacher, and not just a teacher,also a very pleasant person, nice and allways there for his students. You are really great guys !!!:o As Erin said, "Shalom" means "Peace" and is similar to "Salaam" for the Muslims. It is used as well as greeting ,meaning "Hello". I have used it in the end of all my topic because it means also "Bye"as a form of "salute" in the end.But you both have right,it is a bit confusing. And about the Vocabulary Section ,as Erin said I meant vocabulary questions. I just copied what was written in the book. It is true this is an old book.
