  2. @mail2akbar yes buddy you are very much right .. i generally scored around 28-30 but not more than that. On GMAT i felt that i was doing pretty good and was hoping a 680-700 but in the end when it showed me a 600 i was shattered. @BePositive Thank you so much for your kind words. I feel a bit more comfortable after reading that one can get 35+ .. I need to be more hardworking towards this. Do you have any suggestions for me or you want to recommend me some book, Ill be grateful to you... Thanks again Gmat0007
  3. @700++ : The approach i choose for Quants is get every question first time right no matter how much time it took.. and later on as the basics got into my blood I tried to finish Quants section well before time. usually i am always left with 5-10 mins, but with MGMAT tests i generally finished just in time. I still feel that to increase Quants score from a 40 to 48+ will require one to read the question carefully rather than to skim it.. this is one area I feel GMAT wins. Thanks
  4. If there is any other verbal notes/material that you ppl think can help me, please do mention. Appreciate your help Gmat0007
  5. Lurkman, Krovvidy, Nick_Zen, Thank you all for your kind words. I am investing most of my time on Verbal section starting with Manhattan SC>OG11>1000SC>sets About my Experience with Quants: I am from Engineering background and was always very comfortable with Quants. I found GMAT quants in alligned with GPREP with slightly on the tougher side. I referred : OG11, Kaplan Book, Princeton and Manhattan online tests for maths. First few question on GMAT were very easy and I tried to make no mistake there as i knew this is where i could possibly score maximum. I did find 2-3 very tough questions but i guess they may be test questions as i was unable to solve 2 of those and guessed them. At the end i was getting not so tough ones and it made me ponder for a min or so if i m not doing questions correctly. I was left with 4 mins before my Quants section was over. My advice to fellow preparer is to stick to the basic concepts and read the question twice before answering at least for the first half of the section. Let me know if any of you need any help regarding Quants, and i would appreciate if you ppl can help me out on Verbal section. Thank you all again, gmat0007
