  1. Man you studied everything under the sun !! you deserved this score :)
  2. These are the two best threads from Clintonn which will give you all the deep insights on quant scoring http://www.www.urch.com/forums/gmat-problem-solving/54297-just-finished-another-gmatprep-quant.html (very good discussion here and inputs) http://www.www.urch.com/forums/gmat-problem-solving/53548-got-50-quant-gprep-six-incorrect.html Hope that helps you and others as well ;)
  3. I have read that news on TOI and it's one of the crappiest news I've ever read. I thought of writing to the chief editor of the TOI to not to allow such poor quality news figuring up in their newspaper. It looks like the writer of the article doesn't even know ABC of GMAT. Please don't buy this article.
  4. Your score ALSO depends upon the toughness level of questions you attempt.
  5. Personally I don't like these books, apart from one on number theory, other ones are way beyond GMAT Quant
  6. 800Bob, Thanks for your 1500 informative pearls on TM [clap][clap]
  7. IMO E, In C "made use for old pieces" : for is incorrect
  8. IMO B In A "in recent months" seems to be a sort of misplaced modifier
  9. Wow, I missed TM for sometime. That is awesome score !! and thanks for all your help during my preparation :)
  10. Got my awa score 5.5 but, I got the same in previous attempt also :D
  11. I also read about the book here Amazon.com: The Official Guide for GMAT Review: Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC): Books Supposed to be released by 16 march ;)
  12. Thanks a lot guys. Your words keeps me motivated :)
  13. Thanks, your videos on youtube are excellent.
  14. Thanks Mitzi,John, gmatnov for all the encouraging words. Now, I think I wasn 't the only unfortunate one. @John, I agree with you I got these 6 parahgaraph RC's at almost same question numbers what you got and by time I reached question 28 I had 13 mins to finish next 13 questions :( I know I can score 700, maybe this time it was hard luck, but for the time being I will be focusing my attention towards TOEFL and will visiting TOEFL forum IMO .. will be focusing and will be visiting, I guess are parallel :D Guys, keep nailing those tricky SCs. It has becomer more harder than the usual ones in the OGs.
  15. So, what's the final verdict? which is the best book ;) ? BTW, Corey, what's your take on Princeton Review book? TIA
  16. Hey Congrats, What all books you referred to study?
  17. Thanks buddy. Math's toughness level was at par with Gprep, sometimes I got few easier questions also. About Verbal, I feel the SC questions were more tricky than what you normally find in OG or even in Gprep. In contrast to Gprep SC, I got SC questions with short underlined portions but more trickier and testing the item types, which you normally don't find in OGs being tested. CR, as I said, was similar to OG's in terms of toughness level. RC, hmm.. on the contrary, I got three long passages, that too not the easier ones to read, but quite dense and one normal lenght passage. HTH. feel free to revert back.
  18. I thought, one day I will write my debrief about 700+ but, unfortunately this doesn't seems to be the case. :( I can't suggest anything. Just be ready for some horrible long passages. I got three long passages and one short passages, and these three RC passages signed my gmat fate :( and also be prepared for SC questions normally not found in OG, such as human genes should be singluar/plural etc CR was of OG11 level.
  19. Thanks Hather, can you pleaese tell which books you used for preparation?
  20. Congrats Would you mind to share which books you referred for studying?
