@HIMADRIC Make 7-10 transcripts (its nothing but print out of all your results and syllabus) and then you will need to get it signed from your department's HOD. You will not get real or original certificates to deliver to each university. YOu will have to deliver one transcript per university. I think you must consult some expert as you are totally newbie. I hope you heard/know about SOP and LOR, if not, you must definitely have some expert to process your documents.

Register the GRE test near 28th of Dec. But be sure you can prepare yourself for the Test within this duration. If you are planning for University of California , Riverside or Irvine, then you should get above 1250 in Verbal and Quant. And if Berkeley, then above 1400.. Can you do it? Hi.. Did you gave PowerPrep test? It gives nearly exact score of real test. Also if you have only 2 weeks for your test, practice as many tests as possible. I will recommend to give atleast 2 tests a day till the test date. I gave my GRE and yes, if you are not prepared mentally, you will blow your test. Just be cool in the test and don't think what will happen, how will be the test, etc.. just think you are giving the test as you did in your home. I have some good material to refer on the last few days for the test. They are the quantitative formulas with examples, GRE high frequency words, many practice tests, bigbook tests, CAT, word groups to revise on test day, analogies bunch, GRE essay answers, strategies to complete the test and few more.. Will give in few pennies, No freebies pls :D Best luck for your test!

Hi hudsn. Specify how much GRE score is requirement of your desired university. You can't cram more words so concentrate only on important i.e. frequently asked words in GRE. RC's and SC's can be prepared by practicing the tests. Regarding Quantitative, you need to practice lot in certain sections like Probability, DI's, Geometry, etc.. I don't believe in taking a private course you can get your desired score. You can practise on your own and even can get a good score in GRE. I know ppl who spent lots of bucks in private tutoring and still not happy with their GRE score. I personally had the online access to Kaplan's resource but that was not what I expected. I had lots of GRE practice tests, materials and ebooks to study and after good dedication in preparation, I got my desired score. So no hunting for private courses or spending in kilos for good score. It's just inside you, don't waste time in all these and prepare your test yourself.

Hi kizitokishaboy, schools emphasize on GRE scores. You can be taken to top university or just thrown to low university depending on your GRE score. Under graduate result also plays an important role in admission process. Also SOP, LORs have importance. But there are minimum requirements in each school for GRE. For engineering students, GRE quant must be above 700 score in average schools and non-engineering students should get good score in Verbal for admission in better school.
