Don't write an essay, just very briefly state that your father agrees to cover your tuition and living expenses for 4 ( or 2, or 3, or whatever) years while you are in college. Also include that he has the money to do that. Simple.

I don't know about Venesuela, but I was told immediatly - you got the visa, pick up your passport at that and that time.

Real TOEFL should just like PP. But some say it's harder, some easier. In any case, refer to PP... because that's the most trusted source about TOELF.

My sponsor was from the US and it never surfaced as something negative. Just sharing my experience. R.

Hi! I use tons of different computers every day, so sometimes I log on so that computer does not remember me after awhile and next time does not log me in automaticly (I want to save my privacy). I think that the problem with all these sentences are that they are not logical. 1. So the sentence should be: Having hit (A) more home runs than (B) any other player © in the history of baseball, Hank Aaron (D) is famous. The things is that the first part of the sentence should have the same subject as the second part because it is ommited. Compare: Not having eated for 24 hours, I was starving. I, not having eaten for 24 hours, was starving. Tom, not having done his part of the project, made me furious. Not having done his part of the project, Tom made me furious. Hope it cleared a bit. I think it could even acctually help you. You need to prove that you don't intend to stay in the US. And that you have got a visa and you have not used it shows only that your primary purpose is not to immigrate to the US at any cost. I mean, I would see this as a positive thing. I don't know hoe the person you will be speaking to will think. Renata

I think ETS mails you your score in 2 weeks. They have to put an envelope in post office after 2 weeks of your exam. But it might take a little while to deliver that letter to your doorstep. I would add time needed for a letter to be mailed from US to India to that 2 weeks.
