a. dote : like b. lag : stray c. vex : please d. earn : desire e. recast : explain I missed this so upon checking the definition of upbraid, I found upbraid to mean reproach. Synonyms. I cannot find two other words that serve as synonyms. Dote means excessive liking, not to like. The other words are unrelated. Upon coming up with a bridge please check to make sure your definitions referred to are dictionary based and one you recall from memory.

I'm not learning any words now, but when I did, I learned about 200 words per session, with about 2 sessions per week, until I learned 80% of the words in the Barron's book. That was enough, so I stopped.

I don't believe that - does anyone have a definitive answer?

Do you remember some of the verbal questions you had trouble with when you took on the GRE, or remember any of the questions? For instance, were there particular vocabulary words that you just couldn't quite remember, or an analogy to which you couldn't determine the bridge. I'm taking the GRE in December and just wondering how the test went. Thanks!

I saw this word somewhere, and not sure if it is a gre word, but just in case, what does it mean?
