  1. @pirimidin : Wouldnt it be easier to post the URL ADDRESS of the site, that way ppl can see the quants and the verbal section of prev months papers too... Jus a suggestion :)
  2. @kronos : Congrats on ur efforts. Since u have ample time left and u wish tu du intense GRE problems i suggest u start wid the LAST THREAD IN THIS FORUM (math) and work out problems one after the other. True that some are repeated but else apart it covers the best range of problems from various books and practice tests. Also there is a site called : Dr Raju's Visual GRE which contains similar quests as those which appeared in the actual test. Nothing to beat TEST MAGIC. U can view so many ppl's testimonials sayin TEST MAGIC helped them to reach the "perfect score - math & verbal ". I would suggest the database problems after u book ur exam, prolly a month prior to your actual date. All the best, Cheers !

  6. 1)S is the set of all integers from 1 to 48 inklusive. V is the sum of all the even integers in S. D is te sum of all the odd integers in S. CA: V CB: B + 23 what is B here ?? 2)The reflection of a positive integer is obtained by reversing its digits. For example 321 is the reflexion of 123. The difference between a five digit integer and its reflection must be divisble by which of the following? A)2 B)4 C)5 D)6 E)9 the number is always divisible by 9 let the number be A*10000+B*1000+c*100+D*10+E reflection E*10000+D*1000+c*100+B*10+A on subtracting we get : A*9999+B*990+C*0-D*990-E*9999 so only 9 is divisible by each term
  7. Do u want the DI to b solved or the problem on trains ? DI i'm gettin the answer as 5. As for the train problem its given that the average rate for the whole journey is 45. The first 30 has an average of 40. The formula is : 2a*b / (a + b) = S a: speed 1 b:speed 2 S: avg 45 = 2*40*b/(40+b) 45(40+b)=80b 45*40 + 45b = 80b 35b = 45*40 b = 45*40/35 this is greater that col B (45) Hence COLA>COL B
  8. P = 48,000 R = ? T= 1/12 (1 month ) I =360 (for tht month ) We know the formula is : I = PRT/100 360 = 48000*R*1/100*12 R = 360 * 100 *12/48000 R = 9%

in the last 7 days 10 people have to travel. Lets say 7 men travel on 7 diff days, the left over 3 have to travel along on the same day as the rest. So atleast 2 have to travel on the same day. The probability of a sure event is 1. That is it has to happen.
