  1. In A, its not clear to what "their" refer to -- > cars or manufacturers
  2. IMO C.. As per sentence, the new price cut, cars are being sold. Anywhere we can't determine whether that effect is over. So I would prefer that the effect is still in action. Hence C and reason why B is incorrect ( usage of have in the end)
  3. IMO A Decreased suggests past.. where as we still have the problem in B it uses like that of gold which is incorrect reference ( it should be - like gold ) Also decreased availability vs Less availability - I'll go with Less availability
  4. In question 1 - correct answer should be D They can not be used to refer to costs. And, here we are comparing costs, so we have to use it. In E, reference of they is related to travelers. This distorts the meaning. Any comments ??
  5. For me D supports the conclusion. If food sources end up in South, migration will happen to some other direction. IMO B.. Need more explanation as why D is right
  6. nice one VenkPeters.. I picked wrong option. Your point is valid
  7. IMO B... E is tempting but does not relate to "free society" from the passage
  8. IMO C as well participant education = preparation.. Also A was never mentioed
  9. We are taking about density- a measurable qauntity.. therefore, usage of more numerous is wrong. It should be greater than IMO D
  10. IMO E.. "More related to something" or "related to something". I don't think more related makes good usage - either you are related or not. Also, if we look idiom usage of confusion - its confusion over. But in C. "over whether or not obesity" is too wordy. OA Please...
  11. IMO A. What is the OA? MItzi, your quote "since B uses 'was', will it be consistent with 'did not' in main clause?" Can you please let me know as why it will not be consistent? Seems like I missed out on some point. Also, others can feel free to comment on the above.
  12. IMO A.. in C.. " if it were to " seems wordy and is not a proper case of subjunctive.. ( if x were, y would or y would, if x were ) OA please ??
  13. IMO D ( E looks good as well, but I have reasons to eliminate E) We have a strong conclusion risky projects are never undertaken. --- it says Never. Same is followed in D-- The only risky projects.. by individuals. Hence, D for me OA Please
