Well, it's a top30 program and luckily I got admitted. But the following data are driving me crazy:
Graduate students in their 1st-2nd-3rd-4th-5th-6th+ years in the department:
20 - 12 - 13 - 8 - 6 - 24 !
:hmm:24 in their 6th plus years! What's that suppose to mean? And the attrition rate is also frightening......
And as an international student, I really have no sense of how good the school is if you want to do some research rather than teaching. So is there anyone could tell me how good the placement really is ?
