  1. What is confusing me about option A is the comma between Africa and to him. Can anyone please justify why the construction is "that some blacks return to Africa, the land that,to him, symbolized the possibility of freedom"?
  2. IMO A Like should not be used to introduce examples so C and D are wrong.
  3. For two clauses to be paralled they must start with the same relative pronoun. that originated from and that perpetuated by are parallel....
  4. Originating-->present participle Pepetuated-->past participle the two can be parallel... one example of OG says spawned(past participle) and extending(present participle) are parallel.. Hope it helps!!!
  5. [correct option requires+infinitive construction] require can take two types of construction..requires+that+subjunctive requires+infinitive
  6. E seems correct to me.. but I guess this is not the OA as EF has the same doubt as I have :hmm:
  7. IMO A... I got this answer by the POE...
  8. C and D are parallel.as a Camouflage or as a.... bearing a combination of yellow and black is wrong for me. D seems correct to me....:hmm:
  9. i agree with Mitzi on this..IMO B. EF what is the OA?
  10. A,B and C have modifier problems. Between D and E.I opted for D as the use of perfect tense is unjustified in option E.
  11. [wrong construction] I will go for option B... as explained by samarpan require+infinitive require that+subject+subjunctive are correct constructions.
  12. [asteroids it wrong] All the options have s-v agreement problem according to me...:(. Can someone suggest whether there is some flaw in the question or wrong in my understanding :(?
  13. C seems wrong to me...Cane has been called one of the three best novels ever written by Black Americans...So the others must be books not author. IMO E.....
  14. IMO A...but I am not able to eliminate B confidently:(
