  1. hey canadian sorry am writing after a long time!!!! well it seems you are damn serious about your exam. I am saying this with reference to your speed reading classes and all in all preparation. I think have posted the same doubt to some other thread but want to ask you also. I am not feeling comfortable reading the SC book. Actually I havnt taken formal classes in grammer hence got bored while reading the book!!! Any suggestions...
  2. Sharma ji one quick question.... I started reading MGMAT SC guide but after reading first few pages I got bored and thought this is not for me. the reason might be I havnt studied grammer in my school days and I cant understand whatall written there....:( What should I do?? continue studying the book or look out for some option?? please help

  6. for abhishek009 thanks for the link . The book is nice and it is similar to RS AGGARWAL the popular book for quant among engineering guys.:hmm:
  7. What i will recommend is to make concepts sound and then go for all shortcuts and accuracy
  8. Sorry mate can't say but have heard lot of good words about manhattan Prep:rolleyes:
  9. Going4it, Thanks for the wisdom words:) I am going to buy manhattan SC not for getting $50 from you :D but after your such a confidence one can say it would be inherently good. well which book you recommend for number properties ?? As canadian phd say he is having Manhattan NP is it ok??? 10. to candian phd stay positive, believe on yourself and expect the best of the best. best of luck waiting to see your debreif on how to score 700+ on just finished my gmat:tup:
  11. I recommend following books. 1) OG 11,12 ( best prep available) 2) Manhattan Series 3) Powerscore bible for CR and SC 4)If you want additional practise go for Kaplan and OG quant and verbal workbooks. 5)Manhattan and powerscore is best for SC
  12. my thoughts are parallel with the soloman . First of all go through this forum. Here there are no of people who have done exceptionally well in the same situations.
  13. I think only one book is not sufficient for GMAT prep. For every section there are some really good books available I recommend following books. 1) OG 11,12 ( best prep available) 2) Manhattan Series 3) Powerscore bible for CR and SC 4)If you want additional practise go for Kaplan and OG quant and verbal workbooks. 5)Manhattan and powerscore is best for SC please check the reviews in case any doubt
  14. I think you are doing fairly well as you have said its only month practise[clap] I just want to say that your first focus should be on the concept and then the time..... If your concepts are clear than quant is seriously the main pillar for your high score. hope for the best and be positive:)
  15. First of all many thanxs for starting this brilliant thread.... Well score my journey is also like you have lot of on and off to the GMAT prep. But now I have decided to do it seriously...:sleepy: Well m an engg graduate but its a bit long now ...I have seen m very dusty in quant . had one question you have recommended the barrons is it good for quant basics n what is good about this book... what about your plan for gmat
