  2. Wow, Congratulations, your information is valuable...tell me one thing is it true as you have mentioned that the Kaplan test are not worth going for? thanks.
  3. Hey, congrats...after all that anxiety, finally you got it........happy for you.
  4. HEy! congrats!! Good score, but don't know if u can make it to ISB, it all depends upon your workex and how strong is your assay and profile.one of my friend got into ISB with 760 score and 1 1/2 yrs work ex. I wish you all the best.
  5. HI, I think one should go for GMAT when fully prepared, as half prepared you are bound to bounce back, if you can pospone the date do that, or else just be confident for what you have prepared and hit it. Good Luck!
  6. hey, I see that you have taken a lot of material to study, quality study is required and not quantity only. don't give it in a hurry, give it when you feel confidence in your preperation and when you are at the peak of preperation, do not delay. give your self time to prepare. since you want to score good in maths, just practice it a lot, with timemanagement in mind, but do keep up with verbal also as a low score might hamper your overall score. the material you are using is fine, just get hold of some simulated tests. Good Luck!!
  7. Hey alien, just a week or less of studies and this score, what do you eat. i think u must have been preparing slowly for long or you definately are from another planet, because other than these 2 options third is not possible.
  8. well you have answere your question, that you had made a stupid mistake, and you lost your ability to stay calm and concentrate. only preparing well theoritically is not enough. u shud give another try, but before that work on keeping yourself calm amd your ind in place even if u had to leave say more that you left and increase the speed and concentration level as they are more equally imp. and for sure do not leave any q unanswered.
  9. Congratulations !! You must have worked hard to get a magic wand, how else can you explain 750 in 4 weeks(lol). You are payed for the hard work, but now focus on application and assay, u still need admission to do MBA. All The Best!
  10. First of all, CONGRATULATIONS, wow man you have some patience and perseverance! Hats off to you, i have never seen a persone as crazy as you. You are an inspiration to people , not to give up easily, but at the same time i would like to advise just prepare to your best giving yourself time, and not just run one after another, but surely do not give up. great going man.!
  11. Hi, why don't you practice a little more say a month, focus on errors, what went wrong, maybe its not you studies, but lack of concentration ,etc. i would say that just do not give up, give another shot, and be confident with yourself while appearing for the test. Good Luck!
  12. Stand up dear, u have already howled for long now, don't just give up on 2 attempts. Sitdown calmly and just give it a thought what went wrong, there is nothing like "this not for me" don't make excuses to satisfy your failure, take it as a challenge and focus, sure you will get it. Good Luck!
  13. according to me definately (A) is the answer, no second thoughts.
  14. 1) No nothing like this will work... 2) No again. No questions published in books will appear on GMAT though you can have common questions between two GMAT takers.
  15. Hi, aiming that low will give you even lower results, atleast aim 600= so then you might get what you want. to start give an online practice test, rest i have mentioned above.

  17. One machine can complete 1/36 job in 1hr Other machine can complete 1/18 job in 1hr Job completed in 1 hr = 1/36 + 1/18 = 1/12 let x of these types is used so X/12 = 1/2 X=6 Neha
  18. There is no set benchmark on what a good AWA score is and which school takes what or whether a school even puts a value to it. Most websites publish avg. GMAT scores which are for quant and verbal. AWA score of less than 4 , which is not considered good by almost all B schools and hence can be one of the major reasons of rejection. But since you have a 4, i think you are in a comfortable position. Neha
  19. i have known many aspirants who have got a jump of 100-180 in their second GMAT attempt. So dont worry. Unless u give up, u dont loose. Just focus on your weak areas and you will be through. A good score in GMAT is not a goldmine which only few in history get. :) Cheers Neha
  20. I would say Ivey. According to my research, Queens placement are too Canada specific and specially in times like these you will have to put own effort through contact , MBA fairs etc to get a job. Also if you are planning to move to non US or non canadian region Queens is little known. PS: Nothing against Queens but this is what i know Cheers Neha
  21. Answer: Each alone is sufficient and i m sure this is the answer If r + s > 2t --(i), is r > t (1) t > s ----- (ii) (2) r > s ----- (iii) ========= Adding (i) and (ii) r+s+t>s+2t or r>t ========= Adding (ii) and (iii) r+s+r>s+2t or 2r>2t ot r>t So, each alone is sufficient
  22. Correct answer and good explanation by Minuddin Neha
  23. Hi, study plan 2 hrs a day weekdays...6 hrs / day on weekends.. cover OG basics and use Kaplan books... then move to sectional and full length tests.. do try to span many books ..try to cover the basics because nothing much can be done in 20 days
