  1. 2 sets of transcripts and one diploma/degree (unless you have a postgraduate degree, which makes it two). why? the other one is evaluated by ECE while the other one is forwarded to NABP for further evaluation once you pay all the NABP fees. The diploma will only be evaluated by ECE and will be sent back to you after evaluation. Goodluck!
  2. I think what it meant was MS Pharmacy and it is correct. MS (Master of Science) is higher than BS (Bachelor of Science) because MS is a postgraduate degree.
  3. FPGEC Application Bulletin page 19-20: NABP states," Certified photocopies of the documents are those where the words, “I have reviewed the original document and attest that this is a true and exact copy of the original” must be written directly on the photocopy by a notary public, and include the notary public seal and signature. If a document is longer than one page, each page must be certified. Present both the original document and a photocopy to the notary public for proper certification. The FPGECwill not accept photocopies of documents that have been certified by you or that are not properly certified. In addition, the FPGEC will not accept “True Copy,” Certified True Copy,” or “Attested Copy” in lieu of the attestation statement indicated above. If you are unable to submit properly certified photocopies of your additional supporting documentation, the original documents must be submitted directly to the FPGEC. You must request, in writing to the FPGEC, to have original documents returned.
  4. srujana sorry for the late reply. anyway, if your country issues registration to practice pharmacy then you need to have a registration certificate. NABP requires that a registration certificate be submitted to them for evaluation though they also state that if you don't have one, all you have to do is ask from PCI (issuing body for regsitration) to provide a letter stating why you can't have a certificate. Please read below: NABP states: Official Proof of Licensure and/or Registration Official proof of a license and/or registration to practice pharmacy in the country or jurisdiction where you earned a pharmacy degree is required. Each license and/or registration must be unrestricted and certified by the appropriate government official of the jurisdiction issuing the license or registration. The documentation must include the date that the license and/or registration was issued. If a license and/or registration is required to practice pharmacy in the country or jurisdiction where you earned a pharmacy degree, you must obtain the license and/or registration in that country or jurisdiction to be considered for FPGEC Certification. If both a license and registration are required, you must submit official documentation of both. If you were not a citizen of the country or jurisdiction where your pharmacy degree was earned, and therefore were unable to obtain licensure and/or registration to practice pharmacy, you must submit 1. official proof of licensure and/or registration in whichever country or jurisdiction it was obtained; and 2. an official statement, issued by the appropriate government official of the country or jurisdiction where your degree was earned, confirming that you would be eligible for licensure and/or registration if you were a citizen. If you were not a citizen of the country or jurisdiction where your pharmacy degree was earned and would have been eligible to obtain licensure and/ or registration to practice pharmacy there, however, neither was obtained, you must submit 1. official proof of licensure and/or registration in whichever country or jurisdiction it was obtained; and 2. an official statement, issued by the appropriate government official of the country or jurisdiction where your degree was earned, confirming that you would be eligible for licensure and/or registration. If neither a license and/or registration are required to practice pharmacy in the country or jurisdiction where you earned a pharmacy degree, you must submit 1. a request for an “Affidavit for Failure to Obtain Licensure in a Foreign Jurisdiction” with the application materials (The FPGEC will provide further information concerning this procedure to eligible candidates.); and 2. official documentation verified by the pharmacy school or the applicable government agency that neither licensure nor registration was required to practice pharmacy. Note: If you did not obtain a passing FPGEE score in the past and are applying to retake the FPGEE, your previously submitted documentation will be reevaluated. If there is additional documentation required, the FPGEC will notify you in writing. It would be best that you have all the documents needed for evaluation before apply so that you won't be disappointed later on. Goodluck!
  5. Hi Rhea They only 2 copies needed is for the transcripts which are not hard to get. You send it to ECE (together with the official degree/diploma) and ECE will be the one forwarding the extra copy to NABP together with the evaluation report. And Registration certificate is what you send to NABP. I don't know about notarized copies since I sent the original ones whenever they ask for OFFICIAL documents. Though if you plan to send a photocopy, just make sure to have it notarized as required by NABP. Or maybe call/email them and ask for further additional information. Goodluck!

You may refer to the link below for any information regarding FPGEE application http://www.nabp.net/ftpfiles/bulletins/10FPGECAppRegBulletin.pdf
  7. HYDRONATION 1. Does the council in India send the good standing certificate to me or do the ECE directly The sealed envelope may be submitted to the FPGEC by you or the issuing body. And if you meant certificate of good standing of your LICENSE, this one goes to NABP as part of your FPGEC documents. I would suggest that you gather all the documents and send it altogether so it doesn't get lost. 2. I have my transcripts sealed and signed across in an envelope by my college Principal where I finished my degree. I wanted to know if my degree has to be sealed and signed across aswell. In my case, I sent my transcripts (2 sets) as an original document with sign and school seal in each page then the whole thing placed inside a sealed envelope with sign and school seal on the flap (a must) to ECE. Then I sent my official proof of degree in it's ORIGINAL-not photocopy-document without thesigned/sealed envelope. And I know for sure you can send it in a sealed and signed envelope, too. 3. Also do I have to send my registration certificate sealed and signed in an envelope as well. I sent mine in it's ORIGINAL form and did not placed it in a signed and sealed envelope. So likewise, it can also be sent in a sealed and signed envelope. I just want to be clear that what I say here is based on my experience so don't get confused. Goodluck!
  8. no patient profiles (that stuff is for NAPLEX) BUT something similar. just BASIC patient info (easy ones) that you will need in order to answer the question. so just try to read what suites you best and believe that you'll pass the test. goodluck!
  9. Don't be mad. But I think I know now what you're trying to say. You sent a COPY/PHOTOCOPY and you thought it's OFFICIAL because it was INSIDE a sealed envelope with the sign and seal of the issuing body on the flap. Unfortunately, they told you that it was NOT according to the required procedure (am I wrong? Because this is what you wrote the first time). And this is what I'm trying to say that if you sent a PHOTOCOPY of the registration certificate, it should be ACCORDING to NABP's required notarization procedures (which I explained). And since you did not comply with the proper notarization requirement, they want you to send the OFFICIAL document meaning the ORIGINAL DOCUMENT that you received the year you passed your country's pharmacy board. But this time it needs to be INSIDE the sealed envelope with the sign and seal from the issuing body on the flap. Am I still confusing you? That's why I suggested that you send the original copy as requested by NABP. Because I know some who did what NABP had told them regarding their deficiency and they are all set to take the exam. I for instance had a deficiency too because I forgot to include a state issued ID. When I provided it as requested, I got my ATT after 5 business days. Let's just think positive ok. Maybe NABP is checking with the issuing body the authenticity of your documents that's why it's taking them so long.
  10. This is what you did: I submitted official proof of registration as NABP person explained me which is as follows: 1-Photocopy of the registration certificate attested and signed by the official from pharmacy council in a sealed and signed envelope 2-Letter of good standing issued by them in sealed and signed envelope This is what I have to say about it: NABP states, "Certified photocopies of the documents are those where the words, “I have reviewed the original document and attest that this is a true and exact copy of the original” must be written directly on the photocopy by a notary public, and include the notary public seal and signature. If a document is longer than one page, each page must be certified. Present both the original document and a photocopy to the notary public for proper certification. The FPGEC will not accept photocopies of documents that have been certified by you or that are not properly certified. You must request, in writing to the FPGEC, to have original documents be returned. 2. You sent another set of documents, was it PHOTOCOPY again? It said on the letter you received from them that they need the OFFICIAL documents in a signed and sealed envelope. NABP states, "Official documents are those that include an inked or impressed seal or stamp of the issuing body. Official documents must also include an inked signature of the individual from the issuing body authorized to certify the document. The official document must be submitted in an envelope sealed by the appropriate issuing body. A seal, stamp, or signature of an official must overlap the flap closure and the envelope. The sealed envelope may be submitted to the FPGEC by you or the issuing body. Did you call customer service and said that a photocopy is ok? Unfortunately, that person didn't tell you that there's a requirement regarding photocopied documents. So for now, all you need to do is wait. I know that a lot of us had gone through some sort of hardship and been put to a tight scrutiny. We are at their mercy. Anyway, let's hope for the best.
  11. This is the contact number for the USC Bookstore: (323) 442-2674. I called them to make an order and it's around $65 including taxes and shipping fees.
  12. when did you mail it? was it an overnight, priority mail? did you include your EE# and did you sign your letter? If you did all of the above then just be patient and concentrate on your review because if you make in time for the April exam, it would be best that you are mentally and emotionally prepared. Have faith...
  13. YES, since you applied prior to April 1, 2010 you have until the 30th of June 2010 to submit your TOEFL scores taken from ETS international sites to NABP. In case you fail (let's pray you don't), then you have to take TOEFL iBT from the approved testing sites here in the states and other approved countries as stated on the FPGEC bulletin. Goodluck on your FPGEE and TOEFL iBT!
  14. Mailed it June1 (overnight mail) so NABP received it June2. Received deficiency letter from NABP (forgot to include my state issued ID: driver's license or passport) June4. I mailed June5 my deficient document (overnight mail). They mailed my eligibility letter dated June15 but I got it June18. So I guess it took them 5 business days to evaluate my complete documents.
  15. firas2ff just keep your FPGEE file open then you're good. like what i said in my earlier post, once scores are transferred to an open FPGEC file then the TOEFL PBT scores doesn't expire. how to keep your file open? check the FPGEE bulletin. I hope that you pass the FPGEE on your next try.
  16. it would be best to call ETS if there's a chance they would open a test date for TSE. Let them know that NABP changed their TEOFL requirements. Otherwise, it would be best to take the TOEFL iBT as required.
  17. All approval depends on NABP's discretion. They treat each application on a case to case basis since foreign graduates don't have the same school curriculum. And I have a strong feeling that you may be able to sit for FPGEE since your degree equivalent to U.S. BS PHARMACY. And it seems that you also graduated before JAN2003.
  18. I passed my FPGEE already:) The first time I checked FPGEE bulletin was around the first quarter of 2007 but I didn't paid much attention to TOEFL requirements because my concern was more on the qualifications for FPGEE candidates. Though I think it was already revised around that time. Let me check if I still have the old FPGEE bulletin I printed out in 2007. I know I kept it somewhere but I might have used the back of it to fax something else, I'm into recycling;) I'll let you know later when I find the time to go through my files.
  19. http://www.nabp.net/ftpfiles/bulletins/10FPGECAppRegBulletin.pdf Time Requirements for Submitting Scores Previously, candidates were required to complete the TOEFL iBT (or TOEFL and TSE) within two years of passing the FPGEE. FPGEC has eliminated this requirement and there is no longer a two-year time limit on the validity of an official score report for the TOEFL iBT, (or TOEFL and TSE) that has been received by the FPGEC; however, your FPGEC file must remain open. (See page 21 for situations when your file will be closed.) Note: TOEFL/TSE Services has not changed its policy and will continue to report scores for a period of two years only.
  20. Correct me if I'm wrong. NABP lifted the 2yr validity of TOEFL scores and would accept score transfers AS LONG as the candidate's file is STILL open. unfortunately ETS would ONLY keep the scores for 2 years on their file for future request for score transfer to any institution. In short, once you achieve the necessary TOEFL scores, have them transferred immediately to your OPEN file with NABP to be included in your documents. In case you haven't applied for FPGEE yet-meaning no EE#-you have 2 years to have the scores TRANSFERRED once you have an active EE# file with NABP.
  21. I passed the FPGEE already. I hope you can make it this April, goodluck!
  22. Yes, i sent it in a regular envelope. You can try it then wait what NABP has to say about it, goodluck! Let me know if it worked:)
  23. An12345 I sent my documents all original even my passport. The only sealed/signed documents were my transcripts for ECE and proof of good standing for NABP. The rest I just included in the mail as is. I did it that way because I had a hard time looking for someone to notarize the photocopied documents as per NABP's instructions. I never had a problem with it. I guess the evaluator assigned to you was strict. So I would be better if you follow what was said on the letter they sent you. And like what Ive told you, you can always try and who knows you'll get lucky this time. You won't know until you've done it unless somebody who did it before can attest to it that it's ok to do so.
