    cpje soon

Hi rxp2010, Good luck with your next attempt. I just received my results yesterday and by the grace of the good Lord, I passed with score of 79. My advice to you is 1. Where did you go wrong in you 1st attempt? Think of what questions you found difficult to answer. 2.Focus on patient councelling for top 200 drugs 3.There are alot of questions on i.v preperations, so read through i.v drugs commonly used egs Levothyroxine, digoxin, bactrim, nitoprusside etc. Focus on iv solutions with short stability also study dose adjustements for low CrCl. I got a few questions on those 4.Study side effects 5.for the law I read Wiessman Lastly, the way I approached the questions is , when you read the 4 options, 1st eliminate the most wrong answers, after that select among the one which seems most correct. Hope this helps I used 1) APhA and ProntoPass for NAPLEX and 2) Guide to clinical pharmacy and Lexicomp for CPJE
  4. Internships are hard to come by these days. I suggest its easire to get an internship at a private pharmacy than a chain pharmacy. walk into as many as you can and ask for internship openings. Also, you might consider starting as a volunteer and hopefully they will pay you once they like you work! Good luck
  5. Does CPJE have alot of calculations in the exam?

    Naplex Studying

Good luck with your prep. I used AphA for my prep. You should read all chapters for all the different disease conditions. You can skip the 1st few. AphA does not have enough material for Math. I used pronto pass for Math. It has a lot of practice questions. Focus mainly on side effects of meds, therapeutic duplications and patient councelling. Also study the different storage conditions. I got atleast 10 questions on statistics. I had not prepared well for statistics,so just guessed those, but I did good on all the match questions.som I got questions from diabetes, antibiotics, anti-depresants, anti-psychotics and some others, so you should try and prep for everything. Hope this helps
  7. I got mine on monday and got it on saturday morning. Good luck!
