To find the mean we have to multiply all the score with respective frequency and add them. 1*1+3*2+4*2+5*7+6*8+7*10+8*11+9*5+10*4=1+6+8+35+48+70+88+45+40=341
then we have to divide it with total no of student 50. so we get mean is 6.82
the equiangular ocatagon is a square with cutoff corners.
if divide it we get 5 full square(each with 1 unit) with total area 5unit and 4 half square with total area 2.
so the area of the whole octagon is 5+2=7 square unit
