I am in the third year computer science engineering. I have not taken computer science because I had any particular interest in it. I think post graduation will help me to get a better job .the two options I see is either masters or an mba . I am not able to decide which will be better.I have heard that managers get better salary.is it true?

I am Robert Lazar.I am currently in SE (4th sem) of computer engineering. I am confused about what to do after my graduation. I am interested more in a technical job than in management. Will doing Mtech from IIT help me to get a better job and better salary? Is the postgraduation studies offered at IIT comparable to those offered abroad? I am asking this because many of my friends are going to do MS but I am not in a financial position to pursue that. I am an average student .Is getting into IIT too hard? I feel that the degree that is being offered by the mumbai university is a complete waste as regards to practical knowledge. That is why I wish to do postgraduation from a good university. Do managers get better salary than engineers?
