Woven baskets characterized by a particular distinctive pattern have previously been found only in the immediate vicinity of the prehistoric village of Palea and therefore were believed to have been made only by the Palean people. Recently, however, archaeologists discovered such a "Palean" basket in Lithos, an ancient village across the Brim River from Palea. The Brim River is very deep and broad, and so the ancient Paleans could have crossed it only by boat, and no Palean boats have been found. Thus it follows that the so-called Palean baskets were not uniquely Palean. Write a response in which you discuss what specific evidence is needed to evaluate the argument and explain how the evidence would weaken or strengthen the argument. The argument wants to establish the point that the Palean Baskets were not only made by Palean but also made by other prehistoric group of people. For that it says, in Lithos a Plean basket has been found, which has the distinctive features of Palean basket. The river Brim is flowing through the prehistoric cities Palea and Lithos. This river is deep and broad. So maybe there were cases of floods. The basket found in the Lithos may be gone there by flood. Only one basket cannot establish the point that the peoples of Lithos were also making such woven baskets. It may happen that Lithos built boats and there was a trade relation in between those villages. So as any Palean Boat is not found it cannot be concluded that there was not any form of transportation, where it is not stated whether any boat from Lithos also not found. It is not stated in the argument whether these basket is not found any far places. It may happen that these baskets were built by other people from far away land and those people had trade relation with the Palean people and with Lithos. So without more information about that time and the civilizations those were established that time it can’t be stated that the basket was unique or not. As it is the case of prehistoric time it is very much possible that evidence have been tampered by many factors such as flood and natural calamities. So there are many factors which may cause the abundance of the basket in the surroundings of village Palea and thus it can’t be concluded that the baskets were built by the Palean people alone so is the case for the basket found in Lithos and can’t be concluded that the basket was built by people of Lithos. The argument is not providing sufficient information to judge the scenario and to get a solid conclusion from that. The author is assuming that the baskets were unique in the first case but it is also not sure, on the other part by some loose information he is trying to say that those baskets are not uniquely Palean. hi, It is my first argument essay, please evaluate this essay and suggest me where to improve.Reply soon,Please. Education is a integral part of any people’s life. This is the primary basement on which a monument will be built. So it is very important that the basement should be strong enough. If a base is not strong enough the building will collapse, so is the case for education. Education could be of several types. For example, Formal education, professional education, vocational education and there are some type of education which is not strictly professional education but it bolster the subject one studied. To be successful in one’s life one should get formal and professional education. Formal education is the basic of education which is very much needed to earn bread and butter in one’s life. Some jobs can be done by those people who have the formal education and don’t need any further special education. Now students, at least some of them try to find jobs after completion of their formal education. To get a proper job is very much important. Because some jobs are obviously good enough which will shower money and fame but it is equally necessary for the student to pursue that job successfully. This decision is crucial and some time painstaking. Students often do mistake to get a proper job due to lack of information about the job and also the lack of analysis of him. As an education institution it is their duty to provide a least some kind of counseling which will be enlightening enough to chose a proper job according to the student’s aptitude. Aptitude is necessary for jobs. A student may be very good at sports but also do fair in math, but have the knack for sports. Suppose his family thinks he should join college to pursue Math as a major in undergraduate as it has a good prospect. It may happen that in college he is a failure because he don’t love math as much as sport. Educational institution has a great chance to evaluate the students’ aptitude because they have the records of the students’ performance in various subjects. So they can predict in which direction the student should go. Their counseling has the best effect on a student. Now if we consider the case of professional education in that field there are several fields in which a student can pursue his or her education. Every field needs some prerequisite. The prerequisite of a medical course is different from engineering course. A student may be good in Math, Physics and Chemistry but very good at biology; he has a greater chance to be successful in medical or biological courses. If a student is good in Math, Physics and Chemistry but he has a inclination toward Physics he may pursue Physics as a subject or Electrical engineering depend upon other factors but the chance to be succeed in medical is not that high as in previous case. So it is necessary for a student to choose a right path and this case Educational Institution can help them in fact guide hem towards a glorious future. So it is the duty of the Institution to discourage them to join such course in which they have least chance to be successful, unless that the future of the student will be in danger and as a whole the nation will lose a prospect worker. hi, I have written some essays and need those essays to be evaluated. Hi, I am from India.I am facing a problem to get books on new gre.Is Barrons and Kaplan premier already published in India.Where can it be found?In Mumbai and Kolkata I searched but didn't get any copy.Do anybody from India specifically from Kolkata or Mumbai have any idea?I need at least one of them.Can anybody suggest how to prepare for revised GRE? yes,you are right but my confusion is ,are they well recognized..means will it be advantageous..as I have information about LOUISIANA TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY,they need GPA+GRE=1400 for full scholarship to get admit in MS in nanotechnology...please clarify my confusion.

I worked on math from BARRONS and NOVA.for verbal I practiced BARRONS.haphazardly I worked on near about 40 word list.

your profile is very good...I don't think that your gre score will make the chances low..so don't worry..but if you want to take it again ..you can..and better your score.

no I haven't taken BB...I am preparing from barrons for vocabs,no extra resources for vocabs but NOVA for math preparation.
