Anyone worked with/studied under Rocheteau at Irvine? Is he open to sitting on students' dissertation committees? I noted that he doesn't teach monetary, but does teach one of the first year macro classes.

Clearly the pattern was acceptances, then waitlists yesterday, and presumably now the "we regret to inform you"

From my second hard knowledge having communicated with a few former grads, the general feeling was that the professors were quite approachable, and that it was a supportive atmosphere.

Though it appears Rocheteau doesn't teach money. Interesting.

As unreliable as any other ranking :)
