Hi, Just wanted to give some feedback about Naplex exam which I passed recently. I gave my exam on June 6th. Exactly one month before I gave pre-naplex in which I got 28 score which suprised me because I have been reading for 12 weeks, 8h per day and felt I prepared well. My only source of preparation was Rxperp 2014 edition which I read completely twice. Base on my prenaplex score I postponed my plan to take exam in April by a month. Then I decided to concentrate on answering as many questions as possible and have gone over the entire 3000 question bank of Rxprep and revised Rxprep book for the third time. I also tried to do questions back of Apha book chapters. For math, I did 120 questions that has been circulating around. I advise to stick to one book source, revise as many times as possible the same material, know brand and generics well, do as many model questions as possible (must to get good score), have confidence in yourself irrespective of your scores in model/practise exams. Attempt all the questions (do not leave any), infact I got few math questions at the end of the exam which I thought are time consuming, so I gave a random guess and immediately proceeded to theoritical questions just to complete the whole exam. Both preparing as well as attempting the NAPLEX exam had been very exhaustive for me. Do thorough prepation and have patience till the end of the exam, you will do fine. Best of luck sunny

Hi, I am completing 1000 inten hours in Michigan, I am planning to do the remaining 500 hours from Maryland. Can I transfer my intern hours from both Michigan and Maryland to Virginia. I want to get ultimatley registered in Virginia which require 1500hours although I could not find any internship oppurtunity in Virginia. Thanks, Sunny

Hi Lisa, I think in your case, you can first write the NAPLEX in NY and then get the NAPLEX score as well as intern hours transferred to Virginia and then complete remaining hours such that VA can also be your primary lincensure state. If you want to take NAPLEX in VA then you have to first complete 1500 hours before registering for NAPLEX in VA. Hope this info helps you. By the way where are you moving in VA. Hi area, Gloria8, smileysilvia, I am happy to inform you that I received my certificate today. I will now have to start searching internship seriously. I am planning to apply for NC, VA, WA D.C. areas. I am wondering whether there will be any expiry for intern license? How long after the intern license is issued can we complete the intern hours? Hi gem11, Hi area The beginning letter of my last name is K. But I donot believe in the alphabetical order. I called the NABP today and they said my certificate is dispatched on 8.24.2010 and propbably i will receive it during this week. Hi area, I am a bit confused how you can apply for intern license without a sponsor. I called my state board of pharmacy and they said that I must also have an employer who is ready to accept me as an pharmacy intern in addition to the FPGEC certificate. Hi area and Gloria8, Today I checked on the PPAD and it shows that my FPGEC is certified on 8-23-2010. Just like you all it mine went into review on 7-30-2010. I hope it will be dispatched this week. Anyhow good news after a long waiting. Please updated your status too. I hope every one of us receive it soon.

I called NABP today and they gave the same reply as before, said that my application went into review on 7-30-2010 and that I it will take 8-10 weeks from that day. Area, I am based in Richmond, virginia. I also need H-1b visa sponsorship. Currently I am working as resercher on J-1 visa, alternatively I can volunteer my internship. Gloria8, where are u located.

Hi pinkymantra, Its a nice feeling to meet someone like you, who is going through the same process. Are u also from VA? I have still not received FPGEC certificate. Where have you applied so far? Hi Gloria8, area, I am also in the same siatuation. They received my TOEFL rescore report on June 29. Its has been 5 weeks. I called the NABP yesterday and they said my application went into review on July 30th-last friday and said I should expect my certificate in 8-10 weeks from now. Have you started ur internship search, I am located in richmond, VA
