I was doing the powerprep revised test and came across a problem I didn't understand. It gave a list of numbers with a variable y in the list and asked for the median. I have no idea how you are supposed to do this. Also, quick question: what does it want for the mode when two numbers tie in occurrence?

Do any of you have any links to good Econ lecture notes or youtube videos? I need to add more content to my site: UndergradEcon.com - Dedicated to Undergrad Econ Majors p.s. I don't make money off the site, i.e. no ads or nothing. The site is just a side project for fun. So if you have any content to add i'd appreciate it.

I was wondering how withdrawing from a quarter ( official petition to withdraw from all courses ) looks on an otherwise 4.0 transcript. I had family/personal issues and was forced to withdraw from all my courses late in the quarter. Is this a big deal to an finance phd admissions committee if my transcript is otherwise spotless and consistent?

If you have any resources on what it takes to be accepted to an ivy league or top school for an Economics PHD I'd appreciated it. I own a site for undergraduate economics students: check it out UndergradEcon.com.
