  1. I was doing the powerprep revised test and came across a problem I didn't understand. It gave a list of numbers with a variable y in the list and asked for the median. I have no idea how you are supposed to do this. Also, quick question: what does it want for the mode when two numbers tie in occurrence?

  8. I was wondering how withdrawing from a quarter ( official petition to withdraw from all courses ) looks on an otherwise 4.0 transcript. I had family/personal issues and was forced to withdraw from all my courses late in the quarter. Is this a big deal to an finance phd admissions committee if my transcript is otherwise spotless and consistent?

  17. ya, I want to put some stats up on my site on graduate admissions. Alot of people are looking for the info, yet its in short supply or at least hard to find.
