Also, What are peoples opinions about USF, Vandy, and Tufts for masters programs?? Any other suggestions? (i also speak spanish fluently and am considering schools in Spain)
  6. What sorts of PhD programs can a background like this get me into? I am also thinking of applying to some in case I want to continue in academia. If not, I figure I can also pull out early with a Masters. Is this advisable?
  7. I am a graduating Senior at a state school in the U.S. My Overall GPA is 4.0/4.4 and i have a 4.1/4.4 in Econ/math classes. I have taken Calc 1 and 2, Linear Algebra and have taken grad level courses in: Micro, Econometrics, Math for Economists and Development. I havent taken the GRE yet but will be taking this fall and know that it is essential to get a 780+ to be considered in serious programs. As of right now, I am planning on applying to 1yr masters program and either entering the workforce or going on to pursue my PhD. I want to know how realistic my list of schools is. I am interested in: LSE, UBC, BostonU, Tinbergen Institute, Toulouse School of Economics, Vanderbilt, Brown and Northeastern. I am very interested in studying development and most of the schools have masters programs and faculty focused in development. Any suggestions or comments?
