  1. Thank you, himawarigirl464 and GREisbest for your replies ! My target scores are: around 770 in Maths (do you think Nova is enough to get me from 730 to 770 ?) and for Verbal I would say something around 540 (so about 100 points increase). I know it may sound quite easy, but given the time constraint (a bit more than a month), would it be feasible ? Also, I agree, memorising Barron's is such a pain ! Did you guys used flash cards or what was your strategy ?
  2. Hey LightningRod, I also took my GRE last week and got 430 for Verbal and 730 for Maths and I plan to take it in December, as I want to increase both of my scores. What studying strategy do you plan to use to increase your scores ? Thank you in advance.
  3. Hey, rajeevakarv ! I had my GRE on the 28th of Oct and also did not score that great (V: 430 and Q: 730), thus quite similar to your scores. I already registered to take the GRE again on the 19th of December. Would you mind sharing some of your plans to study again and how you want to increase your scores ?
  4. Hey, guys ! This is my first post on this forum and I need your help and suggestions. I took the GRE last week and the results aren't that great: I got 430 for Verbal and 730 for Quantitative. I plan to apply for Strategy and Finance masters where the Verbal score does not count that much, but I believe that such an incredibly low score does not do any good for me. I already registered to sit the GRE again in 1 month, thus I desperately need to up both of my scores until then. Until now, the only preparation I've done is: Princeton Review, Barron's (just the practice questions, did not study the words), Kaplan and their afferent CD's. I just ordered online the Nova book for maths, do you think that is a good choice ? Also, what can I do to increase my scores for both sections? Do you think memorizing Barron's 3500 words list helps for the Verbal Section ? Thank you in advance for your ideas.
