  1. Thanks for the answer. If it was cancelled, how do I acknowledge it? By the way, why do sometimes people get more than 3 reading passages? During the test, only I did not get more than 3 reading passages. I feel instead, I got more listening passages. Was it because I might have done comparable bad to others on the reading passages so I got less reading passages or what?

  3. I took IBT yesterday and after the exam finished, I asked our supervisor if I can check the school's TOEFL report code and sat on another PC. But when I moved back, he had answered all after-exam questions for me and it was showing blank toefl screen already. Now, I wonder what questions were there? He said he did not cancel the exam scores and asked if I wanted to cancel.. But I had not asked him to answer or do anything for me..Do anyone remember what were the questions? (questions that come after the writing section finish). Thank you
  4. I feel like all master programs in econ in us are scams LOL! no information provided at all...have you found any recent graduates and asked if it worth studying there or not? would it make money at the end?
  5. anyone going to this program or Umich at all?? any information is really valued...
  6. I graduated in 2010 when I was still 19 and became 20 after 5month. Why did u ask this question? I got admission offer from master programs in economics (top 15 economics grad school/s-no funding so far) and columbia uni 2nd bachelor's degree offer. My career goal is to make around 200k starting from 2023 (I took inflation into account - today's 150k)..I want to know which one would be nice place to start for that goal and study MBA in 2016-2017.
  7. Leave you contact details, lets talk about it. Skype or Yahoo! would do.
  8. Hi dear readers, I have a question about MBA Admission. If I am 21 years old and have only less than 3years of working experience(Technical Manager/Assistant Manager/General Manager positions) abroad and a new greencard holder which has over 3.5 GPA from the top and prestigious university in the Caucasus region and majored in BBA in International Business/Economic Relations, what's my chance of getting into top 20MBA schools in USA in 2011? Note: I have not taken GMAT yet. thanks
  9. I also got admission offer from U Mich Ann Arbor MAE and BU MAE. Have you got any information about tuition or about funding?
  10. Hi. :whistle:What do you think about Master in Applied Economics - University of Michigan?
  11. Hi, true that it does not provide any clear information about the program, but I cannot find any information elsewhere either. Anyway, here is another ranking, and this one looks more reasonable 2010 Ranking of Economics Graduate Schools — PhDs.org Graduate School Guide . (I tried multi quote but I did not make it work). Maybe we can see what the coordinator will reply to zkk and get more information. I am just wondering that did you choose this program because u chose to work after MA? Did you think about going to PhD after this MA? I read and heard many opinions that MA in Economics might just simply be a waste of time. However, I don't feel like spending 5years of my life even though I am enough young to devote 4-5yrs to it. And I am sure they had clearly stated that its not a terminal to the PhD program. I'd prefer working, then, return for an MBA program. It is math-intensive program and I am kind of deviating. If I found out that its ok, I'll go for more math-intensive part of Economics for a reason!
  12. It states in the methodology part that "These rankings take only into account institutions registered in EDIRC and authors registered with the RePEc Author Service and the institutions they claimed to be affiliated with." In my opinion, it doesn't tell me anything about the quality of the program. I don't know what you think about... Well, just to note again, BU is in top 10 every year for its largest enrollment and it has pretty high acceptance rate. So, it is normal to see hundreds of job candidates. I would not say it should affect to our decisions.
  13. where did you get that ranking information from? I had checked usnews ranking and it was 24th, but they did not mention either it was for PhD or for MA. I wonder how many places there were in MA Econ program at BU, any ideas?
