  8. abby, in real naplex math questions are not that hard as 120Q. but sure if you do 120 questions once you will find all different equations in those 120Q which will help you to solve easy questions in test. That is my experience.
  9. Hello guys, I was using this forum since i was taking FPGEE ( Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination). Today, I passed NAPLEX in a first try with passing score of 75 and I would love to give my feedback to forum which will sure help other candidate. I am not a genius student and consider myself in an average student. As a foreign grad. it was tough to take this kind of big board examinations. For NAPLEX, i started my study after i finished my Internship and studied part time in the evening as i am working full time in Pharmaceutical. If you are full time worker and studying part time for this test then this info will helpful to you a lot. For 4 months I studied part time everyday in evening 5.30pm to 8.00pm ( Used Library for this time ). Within this 4 months i covered all chapters just once, used Passnaplexnow books. After 4 months of study part time one day in a weekend i tried to recall things but NO i couldn't able to recall all drugs. So decided to study full time for a month... took off from work for 3 weeks and study full time as a second time study which help me to memorize things faster than my first time study. I took date for NAPLEX and a week before test I feel that still I am not ready yet. So I reschedule my test date and started my work full time work again. At this stage I was studied 4 months(Part time) and 3 weeks full time (still didn't attend test). Then i bought Rxprep Quiz online and started Quizes part time in evening after work same as my routing, 5.30pm to 8.00pm , for 3 weeks. I usually got around 70% in each quiz. So decided to take other vacation from work and start full time study again. So I took other 3 weeks vacation from work and started studying 10 to 12 hours a day with my target date for NAPLEX test was just before my vacation over. At this stage I was studied 4 months(Part time), 3 weeks(Fulltime), 3 weeks Quizes (Part time) and 3 weeks (Fulltime). Attended a test and Passed today in first attempt, not high score,75, pass. Math is my strength that i know from my undergrad. I am good at math still I also covered one Math book during first 4 months of part time study. 4 Months ( Part time) : passnaplex books, Math book (Pharmaceutical Calculations, Howard C.Ansel) : 3 hours a day during week , No study in weekend because that time is for family and kids 3 weeks (Full time) : second time passnaplex books ( 10 to 12 hours only study, Keep family aside for that time) but not attended Naplex 3 weeks (Part time) : Quizes ( 3 hours a day during week) 3 Weeks (Full time) : Final reading for NAPLEX and 120 SDN math questions.
  10. Hi, I am a Foreign Grad too and recently started study for NAPLEX. Plan to take in Nov or Dec of this year. I am happy to join this group. 11. I am going to start preparing for NAPLEX. Any one has any suggestion about books and how to prepare. I am full time working professional and study part time in evenings. So i need better plan to study. Planing to take in Oct-Nov time. Anyone from NJ area seeking a partner to study and share knowledge. Thank you in advance.
  12. This is worst situation for foreign grads. I've just spoken to the intern coordinator of xxxx pharmacy and who informed me that they no longer consider foreign pharmacy grad interns. I am a US Citizen and an FPGEC. he said it doesn't matter. he said that the pharmacy grads/ students here in the US have been over saturated for years and companies like them hire first to their grads than the foreign grad pharmacists. he said that they don't accept foreign grad interns for over 2 years now and as he knows leading retail pharmacies such as yyyy, wwwwww, ttttt and the like- would prioritize US educated students than foreign pharmacy grads and that most of these retail co. no longer accepts FPGE certified individuals. he said I could work as a pharm tech but that's all and can't convert my hours to internship hours. I still have hope but i'm getting tired. I feel as if they(nabp and ets) just allow foreign grads to get the fpgec just to gain financial advantage from the takers. I'm sure they know this situation and they know the large number of applicants and the money they spend just to get this certificate. I don't know what other foreign grads like me experience but this is the situation now in New Jersey. Before i thought FPGEE is hard exam but now i can say FPGEE is easier to pass than to get an internship. Good luck guys.............................................
