    EZ Solutions

I started studying for the GMAT through the EZ Solutions material (10 book package) for the math section. For the verbal - sentence correction and critical reasoning I have been using the SC & CR bible by powerscore, so far they seem pretty good. Has anyone prepared with this material for the GMAT? Any comments? Thanks
  2. Thanks for the website. I thought TwinnSplitter's comments are a great way to prepare for the GMAT.
  3. I have seen some people recommending to study for the LSAT to improve the RC & CR sections in the GMAT. Presently I'm not living in the U.S. for a couple of months and would like to start studying material for the LSAT exam. Any good websites you could recommend? or Online material I could purchase?

    Study Plan

I have seen really good reviews from EZ solutions (for math) in this forum. It has a lot of theory and basics you need to know for the test. These are not exams but handbooks used to prepare yourself for the exam. It has theory and excercises. Personally I feel it is most helpful to be very solid on the theory and afterwards concentrate on the exercises. The official guide provides very good exercises and believe this forum also provides more advance problems which would also be very helpful.

    Study Plan

Based on the research that I have been doing for some time I have found the following material to be very useful, and have also seen it recommended by several. Study material: 1. Official Guide 2. EZ Solutions (math only) EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Review – Arithmetic EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Review – Algebra EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Review – Applications EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Review – Geometry EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Review – Word Problems EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Review – Logic & Stats EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Practice – Basic Workbook EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Practice – Advanced Workbook EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Strategies – Alternate Methods EZ Solutions – Test Prep Series – Math Section – Data Sufficiency 3. GMAT Sentence Correction Bible 4. GMAT Critical Reasoning Bible 5. 1000 Sentence Correction exercices - http://thousandsc.blogspot.com/ 6. 1000 Critical Reasoning - http://gmating.com/downloads/free-downloads.php 7. 1000 Reading Comprehension - http://gmating.com/downloads/free-downloads.php 8. Download the TestMagic Math exercises (I think it has about 1000) The goal is to achieve a 700+ score English is not my native language therefore I have to work really hard on the verbal section. I have been working a lot in not just doing exercises but instead trying to analyze them so I can really understand the problem. So far I have been working on the Sentence correction part only. I would like to be prepared and feel fully confident for this exam in July 2011. Although I have not yet developed a study plan. My strategy is to study around 2 hrs Mon – Fri and 8 hrs Sat – Sun as a minimum. I will not be able to study all weekends due to work constrictions therefore I’m estimating around a 25 week program. ~ 450 hrs I would really appreciate any recommendations you can give me to achieve this goal. I will post a study plan in a couple of days and would like to know your opinion.
  6. Thanks for the website. The material seems pretty good. I was using 1000SC for the sentence correction. I found the previous website pretty helpful. I really need to improve in SC & RC. What is your opinion on the website you provided (http://gmating.com/downloads/free-downloads.php) for these two sections?
  7. Hello everyone, I'm very glad to be a part of this forum. I really hope I can learn as much from you as you from me. I believe that with our active participation and commitment in this forum and our study material we can achieve our goals. I found out about this forum about 2 years ago and now I'm ready to prepare myself for the GMAT exam. I have done some research on the material I will be using to study. My goal is to score a +700 on the GMAT. The Universities I'm considering are the following: 1. Columbia Business School 2. Stanford 3. London Business School 4. Insead Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
