I took my GRE on 21 June in 2011 and got 1130 (Q-800, V-330, AW-2.0) and recently I appeared in an IELTS test on 28 June in 2014 and got 6.5 (L-7, R-7, W-6, S-6). In addition, my undergraduate CGPA is 3.45 (scale 4.00) on B. Sc in Mechanical Engineering. Now I want to go for higer education with financial aid in US. So, I badly need help about University selection for fall 2015.

Hi, I think its better to keep it simple as it is. Did you hear about cost of anything is 0 dollar? If the question says that x is integer, then you must remember about x may be positive, negative or equal to zero.

Recently I've given GRE exam and got very poor verbal score (330 out of 800). I know that I'm so much weak in English, even I can not speak in English. Now, I've decided to give IELTS exam within 30 to 40 days; how can I take preparation to get a good score in IELTS?

LCM of 24(2*2*2*3) & 108(2*2*3*3*3) => 216(2*2*2*3*3*3) not a square therefore, to become a square it should be multiplied with 2*3, and it becomes 2*2*2*2*3*3*3*3 which is square of 2*2*3*3 or 36( also a multiple of 12 ) ans. A)12 & C)36

ans. D there r 3 triangle & 1 square in the equilateral triangle. The two smaller triangles, left & right to the square, r equal and consider one of them. The vertical edge is 12 inches and the angle between the horizontal edge and hypotenus is 60 degree. So, according to the rule of trigonometry, tan 600=root 3 = vertical edge(12)/horizontal edge =>horizontal edge= 12/root 3 therefore, the base of the equilateral triangle is = 12+ 2*12/root 3 = 12 + 24/ root 3 and the perimeter is = 3*(12+24/root 3)=36+24* root 3

1. ans. both c & d according to the given condition x must be greater than -1, otherwise 1/x will be greater than or equal to x. if x= -1 , 1/x= -1 ; x=1/x which is not possible if x= -2, 1/x=-0.5; 1/x>x ,, ,, ,, ,, if x= -0.5, 1/x=-2; 1/x now putting x=-0.5 in a; not satisfied putting x=-0.5 in b; not satisfied putting x=-0.5 in c; satisfied putting x=-0.5 in d; satisfied putting x=-0.5 in e; not satisfied 2. question is not clear

3. Ans. c for M miles, there are 4*M quarter-mile. Cost= C*1+ (4M-1)*C/4 = C + (M-1/4)C = C ( 1+M-1/4)= C ( M + 3/4)
