Thank you talktorohit, I know 1100+ is not a good score but I have good academics and 6+ yrs research experience in Indian research Institutes and US Universities...have 5 research publications as well...so thinking to try with this score first as studying for revised GRE is not a problem but Q really sucks me and it's not my forte at all....lets see if I can get anything with this score... Thank you once again for your response!- 7 replies

Congratulations talktorohit...it's a great score and a real great improvement in just 20 days... I took my exam on 23 July and ended up with 1120...and now I have neither time nor patience to take the revised GRE....and Q sucks me so I'll try to get somewhere with this score only... Which course you are applying for?- 7 replies

Two days back I took the GRE general test and little confused as before starting the session, they asked me about some background question in which they mentioned I have to select the undergrad school before the test and grad school will be asked after completing the session and I randomly selected one school (I don't even remember what exactly I did) and then after completing the test I selected grad schools as well. I am little worried....as GRE is not meant for undergrad program... Anybody had the same situation....please let me know....

Hi All, As of now I am done with GRE but couldn't score well and ended up with 600Q and 520V (I know Q is really bad but I was expecting something around 600+ only it as It's not my forte), I am scared in taking revised GRE and really don't want to start from scratch. Any idea if I can get in to a grad program for Biology/Plant Sciences.

Thank you so much twohundredping....I saw this somewhere and wanted to make clear if it exists and I can use in my actual exam...though i tried it using in few problems and came with a totally different answer from which I got using Pythagorean Theorem...thank you once again!

Can I use the formula 4/5 r^2 for calculating the area of a inscribed rectangle in a circle (where r is the radius of the circle)??????
-
Thank you JF...but I am scared with Q as I have repeated PP so many times and as I wrote in my previous post most of the questions are appearing again and again...and I score something around 750-780.... What is your score?
-
hummmmm....I wish same happen with me as Q is not my forte and m not good in verbal as well specially with RC :( In powerprep I am getting something in between 1450-1500 but somehow don't trust that score anymore as I have repeated PP so many times and almost same questions are appearing again and again.... Wish me luck :) just curious, what program are you applying for?
