Some famous athletes and entertainers earn millions of dollars every year. Do you think these people deserve such high salaries? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. Some people think that the athletes and entertainers should not be paid with high money, other think that they deserve millions of dollars. This issue is a controversial one, but in my opinion the closer examination reveals that the entertainers and athletes should be paid with lot of money. In this essay I will explain my position providing examples to support my claim. First of all, the athletes and the entertainers need lot of practice for the competition. In order to convince them for hard working and lot of practice it is essential to attract them with handsome amount of money and as a result they will give better output. If you compare the actors/actresses of Hollywood with the Bollywood (Pakistani film Industry), celebrities from Hollywood are very professional in their work, because they are highly paid for the movies. Whereas, in the Bolloywood, small amount of money is spared for the actors/actresses. Thus their efficiency is not as good as those from Hollywood. Secondly, the athletes or entertainers are the ambassadors of a country. They represent their country in-front of million of peoples from all over the world. Their good performance can build a better image of the home country abroad. They should be highly paid so that they represent a prosperous nature. If they are not provided with good amount of money then they will not actively participate in the games or in the performance. If they win the prizes then the country will be famous around the world and vise versa. For example, the cricket lovers can easily differentiate between the popularity of Australia and Keyneya. Australia won most of the cricket world cup and is having a very good reputation and Keyneya is widely known as the country with a weak cricket team. In the same way the Australian players are provided with high salary and Keyneya players with less salary and their performance is in accordance with the money they are getting. Thus if the players are given good salary then they will try hard and will earn more and more fame for their nation as compared to the players with less earnings. Moreover, the athletes and entertainers are always on the top among the famous people and almost all of the charity organizations are being supported by these famous personalities. They earn lot of money, gives lot of tax and also spend a big part of their money for the charity's activities. In summary, the athletes and the entertainers play a vital role in the image building of a country; they are highly talented and had working people. I personally think that they should be highly paid.

Pets should be treated like family members. Do you agree or disagree? Some people think that the pets should be treated like the ordinary animals, other think they should be treated just like the family member. The issue is a controversial one, but in my opinion a closer examination reveals that the pets should be treated like family members. In this essay I will explain my position providing the examples to support the claim. First of all, the pets are the mostly adopted by those who do not have any children. In this way these pets take the position of their children and fulfil the space, which parents are feeling in their lives. If the pets will be treated in ordinary way then the parents will still feel the deficiency of children. Thus, if they treat with care like one of them then they will feel satisfaction and it will complete their family. Second, the pet some times they are helpful for their owners. Like dogs, they not only play with its owner but also provide security to them. Such animals are always ready for any kind of sacrifice for the owner. The faithfulness of such animals really deserves a special care. Such properties in pets bring closer them to their owners and should be given that care. Moreover, the feelings that the pets carry are almost the same as that of human beings. They can feel, respond and even can show emotions in the form of love or anger. These characteristics make them special and enable them to make a special place within a family. If they are loved then in response they will give love and loyalty. If they are treaded in a harsh way they show their anger over the behaviour. Thus, they should be treated like a member of their family with great care. Furthermore, for some people their pet act like their best friend. They enjoy the company of their pet more than any thing else. After coming back from office the first thing that they touch or grab is their pet. Just like I always miss my cat, each time I used to come back to home from my office the first thing I wanted to see was my cat. I mostly used to spend my evening with my cat in my home instead of doing other activities. In this way, it became a member of my family. It was my responsibility to treat the cat in a special way and I did it. In summary, once you have brought an animal like dog, cat or bird to you home it is your responsibility to take care of it. It is only possible if you treat them as one of your family members.

The author explains that the United States is using school system that is based on the European system. In which students are graded on the basis of their ages. The speaker, however, suggest that they grad system which is being used in the United sates is not ideal. The Speaker explains that the individuals are different in learning. Some times a student of six years is not mature enough for the school and some are ready at the age of four of five. A student of age six can get admission in the school to start his/her first grad regardless of their metal maturity. The speaker further says that the students even in their teen ages have different social and physical maturity. In graded system , students have to repeat the study material through out the year or otherwise they have to wait for the whole year to get new material. The author in the passage explains the graded system in the United States, which is borrowed from European system. In which students get education according to their ages. There are Primary, intermediate and secondary grads. Each grad deals with different age grope. Different teaching schemes are implemented according to the grad. After the completion of secondary grad the student are granted with Secondary school or high school diploma. In summary, the reading passage provides an overview of the educational system in the United States, which is based on the grad system. In the listening, the speaker, however, explains the possible flaws in the graded system being used in the US and suggest that it not the ideal one.
