  1. Speaking from experience (I passed FPGEE in 2002) NABP does not issue the certificate unless you have passed the TSE (or the TOEFL iBT). And, FPGEE score does not expire. There used to be a 2 year expiration before, but that requirement as been removed for at least a few years now.
  2. Well said Deva. I too recently passed the TSE after several years of efforts. However, I agree with what you said. I still hope that the NABP changes it's unfair requirements. Kemo202, if we applied your arguments to several landmark decisions in history, you can see that your logic is flawed. When slavery was abolished in the US did the generation that had to experience slavery tell the new generation that they too should face it because they have not suffered. Obviously not. So, please rethink your stand and support the reform that's needed.

  5. Can you give me the link for NABP's web page where you checked your name. Thanks.
  6. Hi Sonu, Thanks, when i took the test in LA, they allowed 2 person in a room. It was little bit disturbing but better than few in a room. If u request the proctor, he can arrange it for u if u r ready to wait for long time. I waited for 2 hours. One more thing i'd like to share is few questions i left incomplete.. but it did not matter..so whatever u speak, speak with confidence and try not to rush. And of course, keep faith in GOD. Good luck ...and I'll be happy to help...
  7. Thanks. Yes, it was for the Oct 11th exam. I had taken it in Los Angeles.
  8. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this forum. The support that everyone provides here is commendable. For those who are still struggling to get the required score, don't give up hope. Just stay focused and eventually you will succeed. Also, keep communicating with NABP and ETS your experience with TSE and TOEFL. They need to realize the inherent unfair nature of the tests. Again, thanks to everyone for making this forum such a useful tool. :)
  9. The board publishes 10 newsletters per year. It has already published 9 this year. The 10th one will be covering the months of Nov/Dec. So my guess it that it comes out some time in the end of Nov or beginning of Dec. But, that's just a guess :)
  10. Please do not pollute threads by posting irrelevant posts. You will turn off people from helping you in the future.
  11. I agree completely. The letter has to be sent by mail. Email's do not have much impact. Yashak, I think we should try to cut down the letter size to a few pages, that way there's a good chance that the recipient actually reads it. The current letter we have is more likely to be put aside because of it's size. Also, if it's only a few pages long we will be able to fit it in a standard envelope.
  12. I think if we send it to every member then we have a better chance of reaching someone who can see our point of view. Also, if we send it to everyone then that tells the NABP that we are serious about the issue.
  13. Can someone please test that the procedure I have posted above does work. Thanks.
  14. I have created a word document which will automatically generate the letters addressed to all the Executive Members so that you don't have to do a lot of copy-pasting. You will need to follow these steps: Enable Macros in Word: Open Microsoft Word Go to Tools->Options Click on the Security tab Click on Macro Security button Select Low Click OK until you exit the dialogCreate a directory to save the downloaded files Create a folder called petition under the C drive on your computer. Download the following two files and save them in the directory you just created: http://ipharm.us/petition/recepientList.xls http://ipharm.us/petition/petitionLetter.doc Add your personal information in the Excel file Open the recepientList.xls file you downloaded in the C:\petition folder Replace the SenderFullName, SenderStreetAddress, SenderCity, SenderState, SenderZip, SenderPhoneNumber, SenderEENumber columns with your personal information Save the file and close itCreate the letters Open the petitionLetter.doc file you downloaded in the C:\petition folder Click "Yes" on the first dialog you encounter Now you will have a Microsoft Word document open that contains the letters to all 13 Executive Members with your information in it. Save this document. Verify that all the information is correct Print and mail the letters!Disable macros in Microsoft Word Enable Macros in Word: Open Microsoft Word Go to Tools->Options Click on the Security tab Click on Macro Security button Select High Click OK until you exit the dialog
  15. Wel said Yahak. Our response needs to be coherent and logical. If there's even one demand in it which is blatantly illogical then the NABP will pounce on that and use that to counter-argue. So, let's step back and try to view the arguments that we are proposing from NABP's point of view.
