  1. While ETS say it takes 10 business days (14 regular/Calendar days) some times the scores come out faster like within a week. Of course this is for U.S. only if you took your test in other country it will take longer.
  2. As long as you don't copy what was on the reading section the number of words should not matter as long as you have written the minimum and since you wrote more than the required, it should not hurt your score.
  3. Dear LishaD I hope you get the rescoring you need for the New Year and good luck!
  4. Congrats, LishaD for passing with the rescore!
  5. First of all "Go For It!" after all it is a person (two people) who is scoring you. Before I used to say don't bother unless you received 24, but I changed my mind, good luck and let us know what happened good or bad.
  6. Over all you should be fine, it is OK for you to write more, it is problem if you write less than the minimum. Only exception will be the first essay, did you just copy the words or used your own words in the first essay.
  7. I wonder if anyone contacted the ETS about the changes and knows if ETS has added any new type of questions in their web site?
  8. It has been a while, but does the ETS allow people to take more than 1 test per week?
  9. Like I said, any new changes take time and sometimes they go back to what it used to be.
  10. Before you buy it, double check when it was printed. Usually they don't update that quickly, it might be better to contact ETS and try the online questions, again make sure the changes were made within the last few months or less.
  11. There is one more thing ETS make changes or adjust the questions and see how testers reacts. Based on that some times they go back to their old format or change something else on the test. So keep in mind ETS make minor chances and go back and forth. Good luck!
  12. Keep in mind all this type of questions are similar to TSE (Test of Spoken English) questions before iBT
  13. It has been little pass 2 weeks and I am reading your message. I do hope that you will get a good company to work with. I know with the economy as it is it is hard. But with all the suffering you had to face in passing iBT, anything else should be easy (or easy as it can be compare to iBT:p). Happy Thanksgiving and I will keep in touch.
  14. Hi! Knok It seems I only check the forum when there is bad news, I need to become a better person :-P
  15. Hey Tino I have known you for a long time so I will ask a silly question: are you related or work with jason renshaw? Again I was just wondering and either way I always felt you were a nice guy so I don't care :-)

    PTE vs TOEFL

Are you talking about pbt TOEFL or something else?
  18. Hi Knok, I wonder if you still remember me, it has been while. I will try to keep in touch more often. Tseprep
  19. If no one told you, there is no more TSE as of March 2010. You will need to pass the iBT TOEFL, good luck!

    TOEFL pbt

    Good luck in your finals!!!
  21. If you haven't tried it, ask for rescore on your other 2 TSE scores, if it is within 6 months you can request it. After that I would have to agree with Nasir13 and good luck with iBT.

    rescore

They say it takes 3 weeks, I have NEVER seen ETS do a rescore in 3 weeks, usually about 6 weeks. With so many people going for rescore, it could take longer, but lets hope before end of June. Good luck to everyone going for the rescore.
  24. That I was able to help them, I know you will continue to help your fellow TM members and we will keep in touch.
