I showed F1 covering letter where I had my family proprieties and bank balance and my father's business and income etc ..just like here http://usapply.tripod.com/visa/f1_cover.html .On I-20 I had my boyfriend (indian citizen on [H1])as a sponsor ..because my family income wouldn't be sufficient. My university fees are 32k and no scholaship .One of the tops universities in US ..for which I even rejected an university which offered 8k/yr scholaship. The officer told me that my case is very week !! I need advice for my 3rd interview. I wont say anything about my boyfriend and only my family will sponsor me.But I can't go for the university which offered me 8k /yr because still 24k is left which is too much for my parents income.I'm thinking to go for an university where the fee is 10k and I think they give me like 2 k scholaship.and I can show 30k in my bank so the finance would be covered and my parents income is around 15k + proprieties.. Now the only problem is that this university is pretty weak and just 10k /yr so would the officers see this as such a bad thing and just reject me again thinking that I just wanna get my visa somehow?My plann is to transfer at the good univ once I'm in US on F1 visa.An other option which I have is to go for ACT and SAT again and try to get full scholaship from a better university and get the visa but this will take too much time .I defered the good univ in which i wanna be for 1 yr . Any advice or comment would be very much apreciated .Thank you Elisa

I have taken SAT 3 times so far (big mistake since I didnt know at that time that univs see all your SATs and its not a good thing to have many).I tool all 3 in a 4 months period and with 2 months before preparation. My 3th SAT was pretty low. I got in good univs but I need scholarships because and it seems with my SAT I can get not more than 10k .I took a glance at ACT. It doesnt have the analogy part like SAT which I hated and made me score lower.Somehow ACT seems easier.But then why SAT is taken by almost everybody? I"m thinking to prepare myself properly for ACT and forget about my SAT scores and apply to univs again. Any suggestions, comments are welcome. Thanks ! Elisa

Any opinion please

2 days ago my F1 visa got rejected citing 214b..after reading from the internet tips and other posts i realise what mistakes i made. But one question is in my mind.My sponsor is my boyfriend who is an indian citizen working in us on [H1] .Could this be a reson for which I wouldn't get the visa even the second time.
