  1. St. John's College. And I have to ask what is your college?
  2. Thank you everyone for your replies and votes. I will attend Oxford.
  3. Econ0, MPhil is, of course, not the same as PhD, but you can continue to PhD (or DPhil as they call it) if you pass the core exams with a score above 63%. What do you mean when you say that they don't have a PhD program? Of course they do, it's just that it is called DPhil instead of PhD. Also, what are the additional options Cambridge has and Oxford doesn't?
  4. I might continue to the PhD, apply again for PhD to U.S. universities or seek employment after finishing the MPhil program; I'm not yet decided.
  5. Thanks a lot to everyone who voted! Tm_guru, I'm also indifferent between the two programs, but still I have to choose one.
  6. If you had to choose between Oxford MPhil and Cambridge MPhil, which one would you choose? Also, please share your opinions regarding PhD placement and employment after graduation from any of these two programs. And, lastly, any other opinions about these programs are most welcome.
