GMAC states on their homepage that IR and AWA don't have an effect on the total GMAT score. What exactly does it mean? That you get your score (between 200 and 800) and the seperate scores for IR & AWA? Thanks for your help.

Hello redpearl, this is also the first AWA I've read but to me it sounds very logical and consistent. I liked it and have nothing to add. (I am not an expert though.)
