Hello everyone,
Well I'm an architect and planning to apply for graduate studies in City&Regional planning. I gave my test today and the scores, as stated, aren't the best of all.
Apart from the scores, I do have a strong academic and professional portfolios, with work ranging from (unpublished) research papers/thesis, to community work like developing solutions for affordable housing in the urban and rural slums. Also in terms of recommendations, I have a strong list (including Harvard Proff. reco. with whom I had worked). Universities I am aiming at are UC Berkeley, MIT, Michigan & PennDesign. None of the universities here have any cut off limit, specially since the subject is more relating to architecture (and not engineering).
So I wanted to get some feedback and views (or alternate suggestions to where I can get my answers from) , on weather I should aim for a re-test or are they fine as they are. I can certainly improve on the Q part and hence a little inclined for taking a re-test, but that would put me in a little time crunch considering my application deadlines which are mid Dec 2012 & Jan 2013.
Best,
Kushan
