Like some other posters, I found typos in my essays and application materials. I wouldn't sweat the small stuff.
  2. When I got my acceptance and told my mom the first thing she told me to do was print it out! HAHA
  3. I'm down with a Chicago meetup! Just send me a Private Message and I'll give you my Facebook or LinkedIn. :) Getting so excited about the move.
  4. The moment I've been waiting for! :) School: Kellogg (CB) Interview: Late January Admission: 2/21/2014 Chicago here I come!
  5. Blows my mind that most departments haven't started the interview process yet while others are sending definitive responses, but if this is the case....it's great news. :)
  6. I feel you. I know everyone keeps saying "if you haven't gotten a reject yet, you are still in the game." However, I just feel like if you haven't gotten an interview at a school by March, a chance of getting an admit from said school in March or April is not very likely. With that being said, Michigan is an amazing program. Hopefully you get in! If not, surely there are other programs out there for you. Must have a solid profile to get Michigan to take a serious look.
  7. If it makes you feel better, Palo Alto is really pretty far from SF. :)
  8. HAHA! Thanks. At this point, I honestly wish schools would reject me if they don't plan to interview me or admit me. It definitely stings a bit, but I'd rather know than have false hope.
  9. I'm looking to do this... Error I need to put my stuff in storage for awhile between cities (assuming I get in somewhere and do end up moving), so I figure this is a good solution.
  10. My first "official" rejection. School: Stanford GSB - Marketing (CB) Rejection: 2/20/2014
  11. So I've only sent out a few e-mails to a few different professors, but each and every time they responded within minutes. I think these folks probably want to help us/give us insight more than we give them credit for...
  12. Yeah I think both Stanford and Northwestern will be late this week or early next week. Ahhh!
  13. Perfect. I was hoping this was already done in some shape or form but I can do some digging. :)
  14. Quick question. Reviewing the Who Went Where reports and noticed that schools are now broken into 4 categories: - Research Intensive - Research - Balanced - Teaching Just curious if there's any sort of list of which schools far in which bucket, roughly? I'm guessing most schools regarded in the T20-30 (from a research productivity perspective) are probably considered Research Intensive and perhaps they stop to drop in other buckets after that?
