  1. Hi, Does anyone know a website offering the academic/professional job openings in Asia-Pacific rim for PhD in Strategy or Strategic Management? Thanks a lot!
  2. 1. no, by phone; 2.regular questions; 3. just like a short interview...
  3. Right, and under my impression, the interview is required for any discipline at NUS.
  4. Well, I just want to say to be a professor is not my only choice, and I do enjoy the applied works rather than producing papers. And I think MBA is almost same expensive as PhD and without funding...
  5. Thanks for reply and kind review! Although Edinburgh does not trace the placement of grads, I know someone work in investment firms now rather than consulting firms. NUS has better and clearer records of placement. I will continue to find more about Edinburgh grads. thanks~
  6. I have two PhD offers now (Management at Edinburgh, and M&O at NUS), but I am not sure which one is better. Could you give any suggestions? I wish to go to consulting firms in the future, or find a faculty position in asia pacific rim. Thanks a lot!
  7. Well, frayed, the thing is I only applied to UK programmes, and the king's is the biggest name I received among the offers...
  8. Very nice suggestions, Indus! I will keep it in mind!
  9. Does any one hear the MPhil/PhD programme at Development Planning Unit at UCL in UK? Do you guys have any information about the job prospect of the PhD graduates? The department does not show the placement information. Thanks!
  10. Thanks for the kind advice! Prof Guest is definitely a great scholar in HRM and probably OB, but it is a little far from my field in corporate governance and restructuring; do you have any ideas about the reputation of king's?
  11. Good post? http://www.www.urch.com/forums/images/buttons/ha_plus.png | http://www.www.urch.com/forums/images/buttons/ha_minus.png Institution: Clemson University Program: Economics PhD Decision: Accepted Funding: TBA Notification date: 1/25/2013 Notified through: Email to check website Posted on GC: No Comments: no word on funding
  12. Generally I agree with you Rohny, but please consider Cambridge, Oxford, and LSE, their business and management PhD programmes are not AACSB either. My bachelor and master degrees are both in economics and between 1:1 and 2:1.
  13. Hi YaSvoboden, thanks for your response! the department does post the placement of some PhD graduates (about 2 each year), and most of them found lectureship in UK or Taiwan. However I also want to know whether this university and the programme are good enough, if I want to find academia jobs in Canada, Singapore, China, and Australia?
  14. Hi guys, I was admitted by the PhD in Management at King's College London, could you give any options about the reputation and job prospect of this PhD programme in your nations? Thanks a lot! :orange:
