Hey guys, i am selling my books for the nbcot exams. i missed the 1st time too. but managed to pass the next time. just be positive n know ur basics. don't think too much in the qs, take it at face value. its a entry level exam not a masters. know ur sytoms for disease n what r the 1st things u will do. EG- for feeding, position comes 1st also state of mind. what position comes 1st, pelvic or trunk or head. alsways pelvic is 1st. if u don't find ans in books, take that qs n google it. u will find ur ans. make indexcards/notes of impt topics.difficicult topics. solve as many qs as possible.discuss with friends. As swati said before,discuss topics with ur friends n the online practice tests results doesn't reflect ur final result. :) Hi Guys, The only thing that i studied was the dean papajohn bk. i prcticed the qs theor and recorded my voice evevrytime. intially i was bad. even my freinds couldn't understand me. So later i said slowly and said within the time. many times i crossed the time limit. but only prcticing evevryday for like 1 hr helped me. Also www.ordinate.com,site hepled me. i just gave thier free sample test evevry week. It told me where i have improved or where i needed the works. Most of all the qs on TestMagic, sample qs, test papers have really helped me alot. those who have posted advice and there is one person who has given good ans. i am sorry i don't remember. Ithink u can ask knok. the name of that person starts with P. she /he has posted very helpful hints. also if u have time, try to read the toefl essays on TestMagic. i got 2-3 qs from the essay topics. Just be calm n relaxed then u don't mess up.:) i think these would have helped. if u have any doubts, then mail me.
