Very similar question. Applied to 16, heard from 7, accepted at 5, and told 4 I wont be accepting. Now based on the forums 8 of the 9 remaining schools have already sent out out interview requests. The last school is a dream school and based on last years forums the school has probably already sent out interview requests. Do I accept the offer I have and move on? Or do I need to mail my dream school? Or do I need to mail all the schools I have not heard from personally? Thanks

Hi Daizj Where did you interview? You mentioned top 2.. Also to all Acc people, have you heard from any of the places not mentioned on GC? Thinking of schools like Booth, Stanford, Berkeley, etc..

Ps: the phd rankings takes the number of papers published by phd students after they left the program. It is all quite well explained on the webpage itself.

As far as I know, the BYU rankings are based on the number of papers per school, and not per capita. This is the case for both the school and PhD rankings. A good option is to filter the author by schools you are interested in, and then have a look at the average ranking per school. You can select the school, phd program or author on the webpage. And off course it is important to have a look at both the area and method you are interested in...

Has anybody heard from Stanford or Booth for accounting? Also, do the schools send out all interviews at once or do they send it out in blocks? Thanks

So, who has sent out interviews for accounting? based on the forum I have seen: Iowa Wharton Rochester UNC UIUC Based on Gradcafe (can we "trust" these?) INSEAD Austin Michigan Georgia Ohio Texas A&M Indiana Purdue General question: when is the latest we can expect to hear from schools?

No problem. Sorry for only replying now. I received interviews from UIUC, UNC, Rochester and Iowa. I noticed on gradcafe that Austin and Michigan also sent out interview requests (not sure how "true" those are though)

How does the adcom work? Do they "decide" areas simultaneously or might marketing be this week and accounting next week? Any ideas on this?
