Thank you for your answer ~~~ it seems the exam can not reflect a lot ~~~

Hey Everyone, I am currently taking the economics phd program, but one of the professor is too mean that he gives bad grade for most of the students in his class. So, my GPA in the PhD program is low, 3.2. I think some employers may look at the transcripts and GPAs, but one of my professor said that the PhD jobs are mainly focus on the quality of research, do you think so ? Thanks for your answer.
