A lot of waitlists seem to have not been released yet, at least for some of the schools I applied to, though UPenn might be starting it seems. Chicago I'd bet will have some more acceptances.

Fair enough :/ I'm glad I have safeties but they don't make you as happy as you'd think. Instead you just read the placements of the safeties and want to get into somewhere higher ranked even more. At least in my case. Edit: Also I wish grad cafe had a time thing for the emails; I'm very curious to know whether or not these emails are sent as batches or over the course of say an hour or two. Would be a bit too much personal information maybe as schools could then identify you I guess. Oh well.

Last year there were 7 michigan acceptances and then like 12 waitlists on the same day on grad cafe, so it is very possible that they will release waitlists soon, and quite a few. So even though waitlisting is not the best outcome, it's still a far cry from a rejection.
