I am highly interested in both of these programs, and would like to know the career prospects of of them. (for both academia and industry e.g. quant) As far as I know Mphil in Finance (not Master of Finance) which is an intergral pathway to PhD Finance at Cambridge is very selective and has quite impressive placements. However, I could not find any informtion on Cam's PhD Finance placement or any other relevant data. I have made a similar post on econjobrumors.com, but there seem to be so many biased replies without any helpful comment. p.s. I do not care whether I find a job in the States or UK and even consider asian countries like HK or Singapore.
