Hi all, I have researched high and low about the FPGEC but am unable to find a concise answer to my question. Some background information on me: I am a B.S.c Pharmacy graduate from the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. As I understand one of the requirements that you must meet in order to be able to sit for the FPGEE is proof that you are licensed and/or registered for unrestricted practice of pharmacy in a foreign country. As it stands I am not currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the United Arab Emirates or anywhere else for that matter. Does this mean I am unable to sit for the FPGEE? I do hope someone is able to shed some light on my dilemma. I will also contact the NABP for more information in this regard. Thank you.

Badawy88 thank you. I am very glad. It seems to be quite certain that I can take both exams while on tourist visa. This is good news for me! Kakawkaw I plan to take the exam September 2016. I am planning ahead and getting things sorted and straight.

Thank you for your reply kakawkaw. I am a lot more relaxed now that I know there are other people who were able to take the FPGEE while on a tourist visa. I will find out more about the required form of ID for the TOEFL iBT and probably even give them a call to double check. Thank you for your help.

Hi all, I have a few questions regarding the FPGEE and the whole certification process. If anyone has the answers to my questions I will be entirely grateful of your help. My questions are: Can I take the TOEFL iBT in the United States while I am on a tourist visa in the United States? Has anyone done this? Once I am approved to take the FPGEE can I sit for the exam while on tourist visa? I understand the FPGEE results are released approximately 8 weeks after the test date. After this is there a final evaluation which can take up to 10 weeks? Regards, MaisR
