Research Experience: No publications, but two citations to a philosophy paper written in grad school
Teaching Experience: 2 years as Teaching Assistant during MA program
Work Experience: 8 years as a filmmaker
Concentration Applying to: Strategic Management, International Business, Nonprofit Management
Number of programs planned to apply to: 15ish
Dream Schools: HKUST, Nanyang, Erasmus - open to programs anywhere.
What made you want to pursue a PhD: Enjoy research and writing
Concerns you have about your profile: Working experience and MA may be perceived as irrelevant. No-name MBA program. Not likely to have very good recommendations. GRE Quantitative pretty low.
I intend to apply to quite a few programs, but would prefer not to waste my time and money. Top ten, for example, is obviously out of the question. Top 40?
