  2. Topic :"It is more important to allocate money for immediate, existing social problems than to spend it on long-term research that might help future generations." At any given time , money is always limited, while the social problems which are always nebular complexity are everywhere around us . We would be very glad if we could solve these problems at the same time, but ,as mentioned above , with the inadequate money we must optimize the allocation ,so that we can make more efforts on resolving or alleviating these problems that calls for a sophisticated inspection and consideration. Therefore ,no one could simply conclude that money should put more on immediate ,existing problems other than on long-term research. It is obvious that instant problems could easily arouse people¡¯s attention , so most of these problems which serious intimidate human¡¯s life or society order would be paid enough notice, and they really deserve it. We certainly still remember that horrible catastrophe of tsunami in India Ocean, in which hundreds thousand people lost their lives and millions lost their home , which would follow with serious social problem if not deal with it properly . Fortunately the whole world hold together at that moment, many countries which are not in the disaster area are pledged to provide huge amount of emergent aids, which, save lots of people from famine or plague and settle millions of homeless people. If without these efforts, no one could imagine what would be at the next. But only focusing on the immediate problems can not solve all the problems. In my opinion there are long-term reasons in most of the existing problems, just resolve the recent problems but not do long-term research may hide more significant matters which would be another disaster ¡®s reason ,or reflect in other forms, and maybe the next the lose would be more even to injure or ruin the whole human society. Take the tsunami example again, it¡¯s said that the tsunami was provoked by the earthquake, but can anyone assert that there is no matter to do with human beings? I think it is a revenge of nature ,which shows his power and warn the human. In recent era ,with the development of technology humans believed that they had conquer the nature, but at the same the pollution of the environment become more and more serious, and the nature has been disordered by the humans¡¯ activities. If follow this tendency the ruin of human society is just a time problem. To find to a way to humanize the relation between the nature and human beings need a long-term research whose importance can not be underestimated, and so are many others. In summary ,while the money is restricted, there is complicated relationship between long-term research and solve the immediate problems. We must study closely at any specified situation before we make decision to allocate money. In my view ,immediate ,existing problems always could absorb enough attention , contrasting to those which need long-term research that always be overlooked. As a result ,take more care of the latter ones would be valuable.
