  1. hey mtcchu, I have a similar problem. I am by no means a master at brainstorming examples, and I, too, feel that I have not too many experiences to use. what has helped me is to just write about topics and subjects that are important to me. If it fits and I can explain how it relates to the prompt, then who cares if it is a relatively uncommon example! The more uncommon I think the better because it will catch the reader's attention after reading 200-500 essays on Abraham Lincoln or how medicine has irradiated polio. You have lived alot of life up to this point. Trust your experiences to be enough to answer this essay. Best- Je
  2. @sea of green, This is phenomenal work! I have done the same thing on my own computer, but I was also afraid to share for fear of violating some academic honesty policy. I will use this to check against my own list. Thank you for your thoughts! With Gratitude, je

    Hi!

Hi Aeriel, Wishing you all the best~ Joshua Klepes
  4. I'd give it a 3.5/4. Your points of contention are excellent, but you devote little/no thought to your side of the debate: why educational institutions do NOT have a responsibility to dissuade students from pursuing fields of study in which they are unlikely to succeed. Do this as well as you did your rebuttal, and I think you could write an excellent AWA issue essay.
  5. I'd give it a 5. This essay flows well; it makes a strong stance, and its examples are well reasoned and explained. You lose 1 point because you barely touch on the opposing side of this argument. If you devote maybe one more sentence to why the opposition has some merit, then I think this could be a "6".
