  1. Thanks for the info. I'll end up reposting this in the business PhD forum as I figure the more responses the better...Still finding my away around this site. It sounds like taking the year to focus on achieving the highest GMAT I possibly can seems like the most beneficial way to spend my time rather than obtaining another cert.
  2. Hi all. New to the site so this is my first post. I was wondering if any of you had any input on the matter. I'm strongly considering applying into PhD programs next fall. Fall 2018. I currently have 1 year experience in tax in big 4 public accounting. I have my CPA completed. I had a 3.73 undergrad GPA, GMAT i haven't taken yet but say I get 650ish. I was wondering about my chances of being admitted into a PhD program and what I can do between now and next Fall to bolster my chances. I live around the Philadelphia area and would most likely apply to schools in the PA area as well as in MD, NJ, NY, etc. Would it be beneficial to get a CMA? Seems like I could knock that out in about 4 months ? Thanks all for your input.
