  1. If you enter the UC3M application portal, (the one starts with the sigma-web) you can see your result. If you have not received offer yet, you are probably waitlisted / rejected.
  2. Thank you for your reply. It is nice to know that the number of students will remain at 30.
  3. Firstly, congratulations on your acceptances. All of the schools you listed are great schools. Whichever you choose, you will definitely learn a lot there. Top 20 US schools pay great attention to LoRs so, at this point, you have to decide where you can get strong references. Barcelona GSE and TSE are great schools, however, their class size is big so it may be hard for students to shine there. But I have heard that professors at Barcelona GSE are very supportive. I have no idea about TSE, though. In your specific case, if you believe that, you can get a 1:1 degree and good references then you should consider about going to LSE since LSE PhD is one of your aims. CEMFI is a great school (I will most probably attend there) but if the costs of going to CEMFI are higher than going to UCL, it may be rational for you to choose UCL since you know that you can get strong LoRs there and it ranks higher.
  4. Actually, when I saw they admitted people without stipends and tuition waivers, I got concerned about the class size too. However, I believe that they know that the small class size is their major strength. So, I am hoping that they just have less funding available.
  5. Well, that was the case in the previous years. From forums, this year I have seen that there are some people that did not receive any tuition waiver at all. And they changed the funding information on their website as 'We offer a limited number of scholarships.' So, I believe they lowered the number of scholarships available. Thank you for your advice. I will be contacting them.
  6. Hi, What are your GRE scores? If they are high, you will definitely be accepted at least one of the schools you listed. I am not sure about funding, though. Since I am Turkish too, I know it may be hard to find external funding if the school does not offer scholarships. Is BGSE Barcelona GSE or Bonn? You should apply to both of them. Applications for Bonn closes on 31st March. Barcelona GSE admits on rolling basis. Good luck!
  7. Hi everybody, I am an Economics student from Turkey and I have been accepted to CEMFI with a tuition waiver, however, I haven't received a stipend. It would be extremely hard for my parents and me to cover the living expenses for two years. Do you know any scholarships that are offered to Non-EU students to study in Spain? Or can you give me some advice about funding? Thank you
