You should contact some graduate student there and ask him. I did that. They usually don't have any problem sharing their experience with you.

I'm still waiting for UC Davis too. This is what the program coordinator told me a couple of days ago: "Some admissions decisions have been made, but we continue to review applications and make final offers or declines of admissions. We hope to have all decisions made within the next few weeks, but it is possible that you may not receive an announcement until next month."
