"Over the past year, our late-night news program has devoted increased time to national news and less time to weather and local news. During this period, most of the complaints received from viewers were concerned with our station's coverage of weather and local news. Therefore, in order to attract more viewers to our news programs and to avoid losing any further advertising revenues, we should expand our coverage of weather and local news on all our news programs." Response : Before reaching to final decision of what should be the content of late night news programs, there are few analysis which needs to be done for effective decision. It is said in the statement that advertising companies have cancelled their contract with television station, but what is the actual reason of cancellation should be known. It might be that they are unhappy with price which they were paying for the advertisement. Or local businesses might be in loss themselve, so they do not want to increase their spending on advertising. There might be the case, even if local bussinesses have cancelled their contract with the television company, revenue generated from national news broadcast in late night news program have nullified that effect. Manager states that as local bussinesses have canceled there contract with the television company, they will have revenue loss. But before reaching this conclusion it is necessary to analysis what was the revenue generated by television company when weather and local news was telecasted in late night news program and what is the revenue generated when national news is telecasted in the same time slot. It might happen that although local businesses have canceled their contract with the television company, still revenue generated with national news is more than that generated from weather and local news. Although number of complaints received by the television station are related to weather and local news coverage, when timing for national news is increased and local news and weather decreased in late night news program, it do not essentially means that viewers have concerns related to timing of weather and local news. It can be the case, where actually viewers are expressing their concern related to the content of the weather and local news telecasted, not timing of news telecasted. So before reaching to the conclusion whether timing for weather and local news should be restored to former level, above analysis needs to be done for better understanding of the problem in hand and for effective decision.

A nation should require all of its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college. Response : Curriculum of a school provides the base what education will be provided to a student in that particular school. It is necessary for a country to have same curriculum in schools for better future of a student and nation. When a nation have same curriculum in their schools, it will build a sense of equality in all the students when they enter college. Keeping curriculum same in schools across a nation, it is like making sure that every student is getting same education with no differentiation, with no sense of injustice or inequality based on their social or financial status. This feeling that they have been provided same education in their school as other students or college, ultimately helps in boosting confidence of a person when they enter the college. This also gives a fair chance to all the students for appearing for any higher course after school. It has been found in a survey that when a country has same curriculum across all the schools, youngsters feel more secure in regards to equal chances provided, which if not the case, many a time lead youngsters to wrong path, ultimately harming the country's growth. When same curriculum exists across the country, it also help student to catch up early in the new school if they happen to migrate from one city to another. It is evident countries where curriculum are different in schools, students who change city due to parents jobs or some other reason, are forced to study in class less that they were studying in the old school to catch up with the new school education. This ultimately waste a student's year, using which in near future they could have added some value for the country's progress and their own growth. When a curriculum is different in the school across the country, it keeps a competitive surroundings for a students, as they know they have to pull their socks early to compete with other students who are provided better education as part of their curriculum, ultimately motivating student with less better curriculum, to work hard to achieve higher goals. For a nation to grow it is necessary to have same curriculum for all the students until they enter the college, to make them feel more confident and secure about their future.
